Thoughts on when we will hear and how many usually get off WL? I heard around 10 usually, right?

I don't know when we will hear, but the waitlist email said "In the recent past, we have admitted an average of ten people from the waitlist each year, with the actual number of offers ranging from zero to fifteen from a pool of approximately 100 applicants."

I wouldn't be surprised if movement already happened and just no one posted here. It's happened quite a few times before.

Is the number 257 good or bad for waitlisters? Or is it indicative of anything?

Isn't this cycle delayed so wouldn't the normal mid-May be more like June?

Lol nice.

Is the fact that there are 257 people currently in the Yale Law School acceptance Facebook group an indicator of (1) that they need to admit more people; (2) that they are done admitting people; or (3) we don't know. Any speculation?

Think it means they haven't updated it yet for the people that rejected them and once they do that they'll send out more waitlist acceptances? Hope I'm right haha.

I hope so too!

On the Yale Law c/o 2020 applicants thread, people were saying there was a rough cap at 280 for the Facebook group. Who knows if that is true, and what the means for us.

I sent in a loci about a couple weeks ago and never received a confirmation. Is this normal? Did anyone get a confirmation to their loci

They only send a confirmation for the WL form. However, I'm pretty sure all the WL movement has already happened barring summers dropouts.

Someone was added to the Facebook group yesterday, and another three were added on 5/15, 5/2, and 5/1, respectively. I'd assume that at least some of those folks are waitlist movement.

So two questions for you all:

1. Is it worthwhile to send my final transcripts to Yale so that they can see my last two semester's grades (I haven't sent any updated transcript since I applied, and when I applied my transcript did not include my Fall study abroad grades or the grades for the courses that were in progress at the time in spring). My GPA hasn't changed but I wonder if the silence on my part makes it seem like I'm trying to hide something.

2. If I send a transcript, what email should I send it to?

Thanks!

heard from a credible source that movement is all but over for the summer, barring one or two late drop outs.
