Has anyone else pretty much given up hope? Maybe it's just this really long admissions process that's making me pessimistic, but I feel like if HLS wanted me (aka my LSAT score) they would have snapped me up by now.

this is my upside i think... since i never had any hope in the first place (no, seriously, my mom forced me to apply the day after i was accepted to chicago, paid the fee etc), even the wl was a pleasant surprise

but mostly replying cause ilana is my hero so by the transitive property so are you

I was thinking the same as you and have the same profile (175+ LSAT, not much else), but remember that if they just let in a bunch of under median international candidates (which someone else above said they did) they're going to need to bump up that LSAT median. I'm hoping they recrunch the numbers and realize they need to in the next wave.

I appreciate your optimism. My cynical reading of the tea leaves is that, if they are accepting below median international applicants, they are already good on their LSAT. But we should definitely not listen to me :D

I was thinking that since they were accepting international applicants in the first place (which doesn't affect their GPA numbers), their GPA stats are exactly where they want them to be. But I am also nothing special so I don't even know why they want me or what in my application they would need -- ride or die!

from the PMs i received during the first post WL js1 wave, they seem to have multiple simultaneous interviews going on. so they probably have interviewed >32 js1 post-WL.

based on previous years' stats, there are still many js1 remaining, but they may be scattered over all summer than in a wave.

There didn't seem to be many JS2s in today's wave, and not a single pre-WL JS1 got a JS2, correct?

I counted ~7 JS2s. Seems small compared to the number of interview slots/post-waitlist JS1 posts. Could be that many didn't post here though.

A pre-WL JS1 reported a JS2 on LSN.

At the risk of jinxing myself, I would imagine any new JS1s would likely come after the end of the JS2 response window--so at earliest tomorrow, perhaps?

Yeah, I'm thinking definitely not today. My guess is next week, both for more JS1s if we're going to have another wave, and for the first round of releases from the waitlist.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
