Isn't there a likelihood, especially when it comes to waitlisted applicants, that LSN users neglect to update when they withdraw/are accepted?

Absolutely. LSN is giving us a very incomplete picture. But that's where the 15-25% number is coming from, so the newer years are just as (un)reliable.

Here is the TLS compilation thread on the subject: T14 Waitlist Data (2011-2013)

This data includes all applicants on LSN who indicated a decision (so not those who left their status as “Pending”)

2011-2013 (3 cycles): 23.7% (312 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 74 eventually admitted)

Using the same methods, here are the recent years:

2014: ~20% (16/79)
2015: ~15% (17/115)
2016: ~4% (4/91)

On a related note, there's two LSN users with my numbers this cycle that have so many pending applications and such a low acceptance rate (in contrast to similar users) that I suspect they just stopped using the site

All TLS/LSN number need to be taken with a grain of salt. So many people don't update their statuses (or don't even enter their stats) for a variety of reasons -- and there's no point hypothesizing why since there's no way to really know. We have no idea how representative TLS/LSN stats are of the real applicant pool, period.

Just curious that if mine is non-reportable GPA (3.91 if calculated / "superior" in lsac evaluation), would it be technically regarded as median?
It won't affect Harvard's median number in either way.

In a way(?) since it won't drag the median up or down.
But it isn't really an asset in anyways.

Splitter = High LSAT, low GPA
Reverse-splitter = High GPA, low LSAT

Surprisingly it's not specifically defined in the TLS abbreviations and slang thread. I've always taken it to mean one attribute is below median while the other is above-- and you're a super splitter if they're both outside the 25-75 range.

Yeah I was going with this since the poll doesn't have further designations for JSnone.
I'm guessing most people have one of their stats at or above/below a 25/75.
