Hey guys. Is NU the top choice for anyone? I'm not sure about it because the average age is so high...

It's a top choice for me. I think the age difference is okay since Chicago provides opportunities to befriend people your age.haley12 wrote:Hey guys. Is NU the top choice for anyone? I'm not sure about it because the average age is so high...

I would be deposited at UVA and thinking about life in Charlottesville if I were you. That city is awesome, and so is the school. I have two friends there now that were hesitant about the "vibe" and now they don't stop talking about CVille and UVA whenever we talk. The employment stats there are nice too and COA is cheaper than most others.ray.bee wrote:It's a top choice for me. I like that the average age is a little higher than other schools.
Riding the waitlist till forever (but hopefully sooner than that.....)

Has anyone who was WLed earlier been invited to an additional WL online interview? I was going through last year's thread and I saw they did that, just wondering if they are doing it now. Also, any movement yet? Probably not, considering 1st seat deposit isn't due, right?

Re: Northwestern c/o 2020 WAITLIST
According to the c/o 2019 thread, it was the online recorded interview, but slightly different. But so far I haven't heard anyone mentioning being invited for a WL interview, so not sure this will happen this year...StopLawying wrote:Omg, another interview? When is the NU deposit deadline? I thought it has already passed, and I was just placed on the waitlist. That does not look good...

There was one on the 21st (and I guess actually one on the 14th for people that didn't get aid??), but those of us that got admitted on the 18th have until May 15th, so you're ok. Johann tweeted today not to expect anything next week, but he left it at that. (And also don't cuss out the front desk staff, he doesn't like that)melmelcoolj wrote:When is the NU deposit deadline? Haha, I would not cuss out the front desk staff, when I am hopelessly clinging on to Northwestern. I guess then there might be waitlist movement starting in late May.Watababe wrote:There was one on the 21st (and I guess actually one on the 14th for people that didn't get aid??), but those of us that got admitted on the 18th have until May 15th, so you're ok.
