Can you send multiple LOCIs through that online form? Or is it a one shot thing?

I have a 177 LSAT, 3.96 LSAC GPA, got my acceptance to Harvard already, and thought my interview with Columbia went pretty well. Is this common? Does anyone else know why an applicant with both numbers above the 75th percentile might be put on reserve?
I guess CLS thought that you would not come anyway. Have you submitted LOCI to CLS to express your interest? I am in a quite similar situation in terms of numbers. I was hold after an interview, but still have not received a decision.

Via the status checker. There's a tab for submitting a letter of continued interest. It's the same as the change of address tab.

So do you have to be interviewed to be accepted? I have not heard back from Columbia, and I have not even gotten an interview. So I am assuming that I just went straight to the ding pile? To be fair, I applied in Feb. with LSAT at the media and GPA below the 25%, so it might have factored into the decision.

For those who might not know or show up later to this lovely thread

Columbia historically does not make offers to waitlisted candidates until the first week of June. Beginning May 1st, they review all waitlisted candidates. Interview offers (required for admit) roll out first week of June to those who survive the May purge. Admit offer comes shortly after interview.

Whereas an interview pre-initial decision is far from indicative of your chances, a post-Reserve WL is a lot like a JS1. It's a pretty good, but not sure, sign.

Hey y'all, I got the email this morning. Thanks for the recap... I didn't want to go back through the previous pages because I was too busy pounding NyQuil while I alternately refreshing the NYU thread and status checker. Glad to see you and Chukes here. Aren't you also holding NU in your pocket?

I see no reason not to let it ride until they kill it. I'm not waiting for it, though. I'm depositing at NU and a great regional where I got full ride. It's going to come down to a weird combination of money and family considerations (I've got a wife and kid).

Does anyone have actual stats as to how many people usually get in off the reserve list each year?

There is a thread elsewhere on TLS. IIRC, CLS is ~2-4%.

So I submitted that i wanted to be placed on reserve on that online form, and then got the dialogue box that yes, i want to be added to the reserve group, clicked ok, and got the confirmation screen. THEN I got paranoid like an hour later and clicked the "back button" to check my LSAC number, and then clicked forward again and went back to the confirmation screen (with no dialogue box). Do we think I'm confirmed and I don't need to do anything lol? Do you think it submitted twice? Why am I like this?

Someone help me understand the reserve group.

Does Columbia deny people or do we just sit in the reserve group until we turn to stone?

Remidns me of that aouth park episode dead celebrities where they all sat on a plane forever only to end up in hell.

Also i mean I feel so honored that Columbia put me on reserved. I thought I would be dinged as soon as my application hit their desks. However, I am thinking Columbia doesn't deny anyone.

The first post has a good explanation. There's a chance that you will receive a ding letter before class starts, but from what I've heard from other people is that you might just have to wait to the first of class or later to receive your letter, a lot of people are kept hanging until then.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
