Any predictions on when we'll hear from AdComm? That May 1 deposit deadline is right around the corner...

Has anyone actually received a confirmation back when they sent in additional materials?

I'm going to do a self-guided tour sometime in May, but I live in D.C. so it's convenient for me to visit.Bruinliferr wrote:Is anyone visiting gulc?

Yup -- usually they email you back within 1-2 days saying they'll add it to your file.

Yeah! I attended an info session and signed up as a waitlisted student so they would have my info. Met with the admissions directors and then after I sent them a follow up email saying how much I liked it. Who knows if that will actually do anything but it can't hurt

Re: Georgetown Law School c/o 2020 WAITLIST
Email I just received:
Good morning from Georgetown. I’m writing to you today to give you
an update on the Georgetown
waiting list.
As of today our deposits are quite strong, and we are not planning to
make many offers prior to our May 1st deposit deadline. However,
these things have a way of changing so it is always possible we will
have room in the next few weeks.
If we do extend offers of admission, the Committee will be
particularly interested in applicants who truly want to be at
Georgetown. Please continue to keep in touch with us with your level
of interest and any changes in your application through
lawadmis@georgetown.edu . The key date for us (and you) is May 1st
when our first deposits are due. With the usual extension requests,
we will know for sure whether we have any openings shortly after that.
Thank you again for your continued interest in Georgetown and for
your patience with our process. We hope to give you a fuller update
no later than Monday, May 9th.
Best,
Andy Andrew Cornblatt

Same language as last year's email, according to the 2019 waitlist thread.

Re: Georgetown Law School c/o 2020 WAITLIST
Preferred WL but did not get a thing, despite sending in one LOCI a week ago to express my continued interest. For the question some people have asked, yes, they do give responses to additional material. I have sent in a LOCI, and they responded that it is in my file after three days of my email. And I will probably send in a Why Georgetown? essay directly after the deposit deadline. They probably would pity my because I am so desperate.StopLawying wrote:Preferred waitlist but didn't get anything.

When did you last correspond with them. I was placed on pwl probably a week and a half ago and reiterated my interest last week, I just assumed I didn't get the email because I was added so recently and they gauged my interest at the timeStopLawying wrote:Preferred waitlist but didn't get anything.
