Ole Miss Law c/o 2020

Post by PrelawPelican » Thu Jan 19, 2017 3:33 pm

I didn't see one for the University of Mississippi, so I figured I would make one. Is anyone else waiting to hear back from them?

I still haven't applied, waiting until I get paid at the end of the month. When did you apply?

I applied in October... Unfortunately I was waitlisted last week. Sent in a letter of continued interest the day after so hopefully they'll find a spot for me after the February LSAT students apply.

Don't know that I'll be attending, but received a call earlier this week offering full tuition. 157, 3.7 Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, non-URM, in-state.

Went in to "committee review" on 1/19. Anyone have an idea of how long your maintain this status before a decision is rendered? I applied at the end of November. Ole Miss is one of my top choices... hoping to hear back soon!

Hey! Does anyone know if you have to submit a residency form before a decision can be rendered?

They're definitely still my top choice! I'm from out of state, and was really hoping to go there. I've been accepted at all my other schools (Well, waitlisted at UGA, too, but that one was a reach). I'm just praying Ole Miss can find a spot for me. Honestly would be willing to turn down other scholarships just to go there.

That's great! I went complete yesterday! I'm trying not to constantly check the status checker. I wonder how long it usually takes to get word?

Applied a few weeks ago, a little last minute since I was undecided about going in the first place. I saw the ole miss law school class of 2020 on Facebook added people last week, for a total of 9 people. Surely they've accepted more than that at this point?

How long did it take for everyones file to go under review? My status has been marked as complete for quite some time, getting antsy because it is now April and I haven't had any movement from the school.

If you don't mind my asking, what are your stats and how long exactly have you been waiting?? That would help me answer a little more accurately.

EDIT: Also, has anyone actually decided to go to Ole Miss? Turns out I will be there starting in the Fall (no debt can't be turned down!)

Finally went under review yesterday! How long was everyone under review before they received a decision?
