For BU I got a call from a 617 area code number.

Uhh I screwed that up in my original post. You should take 627 off... Is that even a real area code? haha. It's def 617.

I got an email for my acceptance notification at NYU followed by snail mail. I'm overseas, so my contact number is international; that might have had something to do with not getting the phone call.

The status checker went complete on 2/6, I don't remember it going UR (though it might have---just can't remember), went DLS on 2/21, and they sent the email that day.
