Sweet. It would be cool if a few of us could get together sometime before ASD.

has anyone else noticed the removal of the App Status Checker from their website? Has anyone followed up to see if it is a temporary technical issue?

Not sure if you know this, but USD doesn't offer full scholarships. Only up to $45,000.

What do you mean its too early? What is the ideal time to try this?

They aren't negotiating at the moment because they don't have a clear view of their class yet and they said to try again in March.

I would recommend PM-ing hard numbers. Law schools are aware of TLS. You do not want to potentially reveal which applicant you are. With that being said, I am happy to PM about this

Admitted in Feb. with a partial scholly. Aunt & Uncle live nearby. From the Midwest, but I can totally see myself settling down here. Looking to go into corporate work- preferably transactional. Weighing better offers from Marquette and DePaul, and wondering a) what the S.D. market is like, and b) if going to USD vs. the other two gives me a better shot at BigLaw. Thoughts?

COL for San Diego and the stateside issues regarding bar passage are things you may want to take into consideration when evaluating your offers. If you have not lived in SD, you may have sticker shock at what it costs just to get bye. And, if you have any plans to move back home after law school, you will not have made any of those connections from SD.

What are the two due dates for the seat deposits?
