Congrats!!! I got mine yesterday as well. Does anyone know if there is a Facebook or something for admitted students? Looking to talk with people about housing.
I haven't seen an FB group, but maybe in our admissions packet they will give us a link to one. I'm visiting campus next week and I think I'm going to ask about housing, too. I'm sure tsporl would know more but if you would like me to tell you about what they say I totally can. Congrats btw!

I would definitely appreciate that!!! How long have you been accepted?? Should I expect a while for the packet?? Any information that you're willing to share would be awesome!
Packets have not been mailed yet! I asked admissions yesterday and they said maybe next week!

I'm from Texas, hence the name, and I am going to Tulane's Admitted Students Day next week, so I chose to take a trip to Baton Rouge to knock it all out at once. I've been accepted for about a month now, and I planned the trip under the impression I would have my admissions packet before going up there. I called them Tuesday and they informed me that they were delayed in their sending ( :( ) and so I asked them since I am coming up there if they would tell me if I got a scholarship in person because they were planning to send them out next week. They said that goes against their policy of sending that info in writing only, but they will set me up with a financial advisor when I go so who knows if they'll tell me or not. Like tsporl said, look out for yours next week! I think they were delayed because they wanted to include y'all in this send out, so I don't blame them for being economical. I will let you know if I decide to look at housing, that is if I end up liking Baton Rouge. I think I am, though. Just look out for a personal message about it around Wednesday. I don't want to bother people on this thread with the info! PM me if you have any questions -- I will update scholly info if I get one before y'all so you can gauge what you may be offered. Sorry for the convoluted response!

Did anyone get their scholarship info today? App tracker said they sent out decisions last Friday via mail so if you haven't I would maybe check when yours was sent out and start being on the lookout :)

Mine says it was mailed Friday too and I live in BR so it shouldn't take long to get to me but I haven't gotten it yet...

Well that is disheartening. I'm going to be in BR tomorrow so I won't know until Thursday, if they choose to tell me in person... but I hope someone gets it before then so I can use that as leverage.

Received a scholarship offer in my letter. $10,000 per year for three years if I keep my grades up! Curious as to what everyone else got.

That's awesome -- congrats! Are you going to take it? BTW... @bcinr123 made a facebook group so go check it out if you're on FB! I got $35,190/year so needless to say I'm LSU bound!

Wow, that's great! Congrats to you, too! Leaning toward it, but just want to wait to tour one more school. It would be so hard to pass up LSU's offer, but I have plans to tour one more school before taking it. Would hate to miss out on my dream school because I didn't give it a fair chance.

I completely understand! I visited LSU last week and they were exactly what I was looking for. I hope you find that fit!

notified I'd be receiving the Dean's Scholarship via e-mail (even though acceptance e-mail said they do it in writing???). Stoked about that. My largest offer so far.

Congrats! I'm a Dean's Scholar, too! Are you going to the dinner next Thursday?

I want to, but, I was unable to take off work. I'm going to have to schedule some separate time to visit the campus in the next two weeks.

I might be, if you're ok with a dog.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
