Congrats, that's awesome! Trying to figure out the Fedex thing. How did you set it up?
Actually even better than my last comment: Go to the link below; select sign up now and they will walk you through setting up an account; once you have an account and are logged in, go to the same link; where the 'sign up now' button is- once you are registered- will say 'view deliveries/shipments' or something of that sort. Just select that button.

Got my letter, but it said nothing about scholarships yet - did everyone's scholarship info come with their letter?

Mine did; it was included in my acceptance letter.

Mine did not, but it said they would send scholarship by March 15th. There seems to be no real pattern in who got their scholarships with their letters. I have seen big and small scholarships in others acceptance packages.

Was it just a letter in a folder, or a full admissions packet?

My letter had to be resent, and Im worried they didn't send the full info. Sorry for asking so many neurotic questions.

It was a folder/viewbook blend, with the letter and some other info (visiting day, etc) in the pocket. Came in a large envelope.

Does Emory do full rides? I've seen a lot of $144,000 scholarships on LSN, but tuition comes out to around $159,000.

I think those are reserved for the Woodruff. Maybe they think it would kind of diminish the named schollys if they just handed out full rides based on merit only.

I'm one of those 144s and would love a full ride. Would probably end my cycle if they weren't known to not negotiate. They are very generous though, so I don't blame them.

Slightly anecdotal, but I took all my schools that I applied to and averaged their US News, ATL, and NLJ rankings to form a composite ranking. Upon doing that I feel like it really moved some schools around and gave me a more holistic view. I also accounted for ranking volatility over the past 3 years. I also don't have a life. lmaoo

This is a great idea. Maybe I'll do this for the top 30 schools if I find the time...

Good point about the named scholarship value. Congrats on the 144k. I am at, but not above, the 75ths for lsat and gpa so I'm really hoping that I get the same amount. 15k for tuition is very reasonable.

To my knowledge, Emory historically does not negotiate.

Speaking of the Woodruff, has anyone heard about it? The website says that finalists will be contacted mid-February.

Hey all, just checking in on this post since Emory is one of my top choices currently. I was accepted a few days ago with what I consider a solid scholarship package for someone with my statistics (168,3.63), and its the first school to write me a little personal note about why they liked my application, so that was cool! Anyways, wishing the best of luck to you all and I'll be around from now on.

Did you get a caller ID? I got a call from Atlanta today (no phone number came up), which I promptly answered, but the phone line was dead. Perhaps it was just a telemarketer but I've been on high alert for calls from any city from which I might get an important one :D

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
