That's pretty shitty, most schools seem to have deposit deadlines by April 1, if I got in later than March 25 there's almost no chance I'd even consider it, not enough time to think.2000andBeyond wrote:Just got an email saying: "Thank you for applying to Emory Law. Got the email as well. Emory is possibly the most annoying school I've dealt with this cycle.

Also got the generic email. Thought it was decision time, but I just applied not too long ago either way.

So does that email mean waitlist or ding? I got the email and applied in November thinking I would definitely get in. Their entire process is such a turn off though.

Thanks for the mini heart attack, Emory. I guess the ONLY good news of waiting so long to hear is that those who've already gotten into higher ranked schools or ED'd can rescind and give us their spots

The subject line stated "your file is still in review" and the body of the email read "currently in review" What does this mean? That they just started reviewing the application or that they're letting me know that they've already reviewed it and are holding off on a final decision?Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:+1JGPGH wrote:Yup got the same thing, some news is better than no news I guess2000andBeyond wrote:Just got an email saying: "Thank you for applying to Emory Law. That is odd. For what it's worth, I applied in mid-January, didn't receive this recent email from Emory (or any recent email from them), but got accepted via mail today.

Getting accepted is not complete relief. I have been in since late January and am still waiting on scholly info. I might as well not be accepted yet since I am clearly not considering the school until I hear what CoA will be.

It's just a hefty envelope, right? I think my stuff should be arriving soon but want to know if my university will process it as a package or just shove it in my mailbox.

Thanks! And yes it's a large envelope, but will probably fit in a mailbox (it fit in mine).littlekidlover wrote:Congrats! Love the username.VinnyGambini Jr. wrote:Got accepted via mail today with $114,00. Very excited was not expecting that much. 166/3.78. Applied early February.

If you have an average sized envelope, it should fit in comfortable. Mine said something like "Congratulations! Welcome to Emory Law School!" on the front.VinnyGambini Jr. wrote:Thanks!
