Re: University of Arizona c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Was accepted by mail last week, email followed.
Does anyone know when they send out scholarship information? I only received the acceptance letter in the mail.

Unsure of when scholly info is sent. My file just went complete last week. Contact the admissions office, I'm sure they could help answer that.

Status updated to 'decision mailed' - will let you know if I am admitted and/or receive scholarship info.

What does it mean if your status is just "admit"?trmckenz wrote:Thanks - I called and asked.cyclawps wrote:Congratulations! Thanks for the news. Is that what you see for "Decision Status" on your application status checker? Mine says "Admitted." Have you received an email confirming your acceptance?youngdude22 wrote:What does it mean if your status is just "admit"?trmckenz wrote:Thanks - I called and asked.cyclawps wrote:Congratulations! Nope, I haven't received an email. It just says under the recent activities tab, "12/16/2016 - - - Admit." It seems strange.cyclawps wrote:Is that what you see for "Decision Status" on your application status checker? Mine says "Admitted." Yeah, they have seemed really disorganized this whole cycle. It's a huge contrast with ASU, and I think that's really to their detriment.[/quote]
Well, I just called in and having "admit" under your recent activities tab means that you have been admitted to their program. Woohoo!

When I called the admissions office last week, they told me that people admitted in November who are offered scholarships should expect an email with scholarship information today.spqr351 wrote:Interestingly, my status checker shows my application is still under review... which I find funny, since I've received both an admit email and the welcome packet. Still no scholarship though.youngdude22 wrote: Well, I just called in and having "admit" under your recent activities tab means that you have been admitted to their program. Woohoo!

Re: University of Arizona c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I applied on December 8th, and I was told that I'd receive my decision by January 31st. My GPA is well over Arizona's average, but since I'm applying as a GRE applicant, I have no idea what to expect. I'll let everyone know what my results are ...
