Anybody still waiting for a decision?
+1
Still anxiously awaiting an initial decision. Tempted to call Admissions again this Friday despite being told I wouldn't receive a decision until mid to late May

omg i'm still waiting on a response too! I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one. I took the feb LSAT so maybe that's why it's taking so long? The date to accept/deny is may 18th, so if I don't hear anything by the 16th I'll give them a call.

For those of you still waiting, did you apply in February? I went complete 2/13.

Just emailed them to let them know I moved last week so I wanted to update my address, and they responded saying that my decision was already in the mail - Waitlisted
LSAT = 25, GPA<50, applied in January

Has anyone on the waitlist gotten in? Curious is they're looking at that while some are still awaiting an initial decisions (myself included). At this point, is anyone waiting a WL at best?

Hoping to be admitted but given how late in the game it is, I'd take waitlist. Does anyone know seat deposit deadlines to get a sense of potential waitlist movement?

I went complete in March, too. At this point, I am wondering how complete the 2020 class is already. The competition for the remaining spots could possibly be high. Good luck to everyone!
On a separate note, apparently UCI will accept June 2017 LSAT scores. Whether this is geared more towards people on the waitlist or people still awaiting their initial decision, the latest an applicant may hear back could be in July/August when the June LSAT scores are released. Don't you think so?

Just called. The rep was very nice and helpful. He said they just finished a big wave of waitlists/rejections this past week and that correspondence should be in the mail and on the way. He also said they haven't sent out any acceptances in awhile and don't anticipate doing so until the summer. They're going to be re-evaluating the waitlist pool mid-June and go from there.

Adding - he also said if you don't hear back within the next week to call back and they'll take a look at your file/app.

I don't understand why they can't just email us and let us get on with our lives. Snail mailing decisions out this late, ugh.

Agreed. One would think the cost of printing and postage would deter the school from sending admission decision letters via mail.

I was waitlisted this week too. I am taking the June LSAT and hoping a higher score will help me get off the waitlist.

I quit the wait list. UCI is too far north for me.
Good luck!

What do you guys think chances are for getting some scholarship money if you get in off of the waitlist? I visited last week, loved the school and everything. They said they'd know more within the next month or so and that "as soon as you're admitted" the process of getting a scholarship and everything else will be going really fast and should be finished within a couple of days or so...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
