Of course. Loan financing is coming either way. Reducing the overall cost will always be a goal though.guybourdin wrote:
I don't know about the opportunities beyond seeing them mention there are opportunities, but you CANNOT go into law school thinking you'll have anymore than already guaranteed. Anything extra you get for 2l/3l is great, but if you were going to debt finance otherwise, you have to be okay with that.

Has anyone received something higher than full/10/10? Historically, the applicants that get a full-ride... are they similar in any ways? Just curious about their determinations.
Also, anyone else notice via lsn that the most common high scholarship for the last cycle was higher than this cycle? Slightly over 60k instead of 56k. Any ideas on why?

Checking in. I submitted 1/15 and went under review yesterday (1/23). (161, 3.85, strong softs) I'm fairly confident that I'll get in. Hoping for some $$$. I'd love to practice in Colorado.

Anybody had any movement in review following a January submission? I went complete on 1/10, been in review since 1/16. Fingers crossed it'll be any day now!

Re: University of Colorado Boulder C/O 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Hey all,
I was waitlisted yesterday for UC. I am very shocked, mostly because I thought I was going to be flat out rejected. My stats aren't the greatest in the least bit.
LSAT score: 145 and GPA: 3.05 (From a top tier university). I am also a URM.
What are my chances of getting off the waitlist? What can I do to increase my chances?
Also, I'm still in shock that they didn't flat out reject me. My resume, LOR's, and Personal statement are really good, however my stats are abnormally low from their median.

Checking in here. Applied 1/20 with a merit-based fee waiver and went complete 1/26.
LSAT<25 and 25<GPA<50, so CU is a reach. I feel confident in my softs, though, and I wrote a "Why Colorado Law?" statement.
Can those of you who have already gotten your decisions please share your timelines of status checker updates and decisions? Thank you!

Submitted 10/20, complete 10/25, admitted 11/9. I was above 75th for both GPA and LSAT (or maybe right at at for GPA) if that makes a difference.sdb wrote:Checking in here. Applied 1/20 with a merit-based fee waiver and went complete 1/26.

In via email, I'm pretty sure the scholarship info will be in the packet they are mailing out, at least I hope.

Anybody have any idea about their timeline on waitlisted applicants? I got "priority waitlisted" back in December and sent an LOCI, but haven't seen any movement since. I figured around Feb. or March there might be a little movement, but really am just holding out hope for an offer. Boulder is a top, top choice of mine and my stats weren't that bad (25th GPA, Median LSAT).

Mine came separate from both the initial admission e-mail and the mailed packet. I got mine via e-mail a few weeks after.chandhi wrote:Hmmm that's strange. Mine came with the packet a few months ago.
