Re: Fordham Law c/o 2020
Got accepted elsewhere off the scholarship. Withdrew! Throwing back 75K into the scholly pool (or 90K, not sure. they upped my offer when I said I was considering somewhere else)! (fyi, 3.48/166 at the time of applying, now 3.48/168)
I'm pretty sad about withdrawing from here actually. I've attended the ASD several times and have grown attached to some of my fellow incoming classmates. I wish the best of luck to the FLS class of 2020 and those who are still waiting on the WL!!

Can someone post the seat deposit refund deadlines and $ that will get refunded? I think it either passed or is coming soon.

first deposit was not refundable (400), I beleive the second deposit was refundable (200 dollars out of the 600) before august 1st, and the full deposit before july 1st, but that obviously passed.ZVBXRPL wrote:Bump!ZVBXRPL wrote:Can someone post the seat deposit refund deadlines and $ that will get refunded? Gym go-ers! Has anyone tried to claim the NYSC-Fordham deal? You pay a discounted $39.99 for access to all NYSC, and they waive the enrollment fee. However, I reached out to the NYSC rep today, Brenda, and she emailed that the price is actually $54.99.
I was going to call her tomorrow to try to get her to agree to $39.99. Gym deals are often very negotiable. Anyone else interested in this? Maybe we can all call tomorrow and stick to our $39.99 guns, on the offchance Brenda needs the commission numbers and will cave?

there is a "gym" but from what I gather it's very rudimentary.baseballfan660 wrote: isn't there a gym on campus or am I stupid? Could swear I've seen stuff about it online.

Re: Fordham Law c/o 2020
Someone just posted about this in the Fordham 2020/2021 FB group a few days ago. The price changed as of August 1, 2017 so maybe she was quoting you the new rate. The new rate is 54.99, so I assume that is what happened.ss45 wrote:Gym go-ers! Has anyone tried to claim the NYSC-Fordham deal? Re: Fordham Law c/o 2020
Well this explains why she responded to my email at 10PM on July 31st. I emailed her July 14th. Presumably I could have secured the 39.99 rate before then, but I didn't bother to follow up because I didn't need the membership until school starts. I would've been more diligent if I knew.Legallylawyer2020 wrote:Someone just posted about this in the Fordham 2020/2021 FB group a few days ago. Yea, the girl that posted in the Fordham group on fB was giving a PSA to join before August 1 so you lock in the 39.99 rate. I'm sorry you didn't see it :/ss45 wrote:Well this explains why she responded to my email at 10PM on July 31st. I emailed her July 14th. honestly-$54 is more expensive than blink and on par with other gyms. the discount really isn't a discount.
we live in nyc. just walk everywhere and add some weights to your ankles and arms. there is your free workout right there. unless you are trying to get buff/stay buff lol
