FIANLLY got my letter! 33k/yr scholarship. LSAT 165, GPA: 3.73. Pretty happy with this offer because if Minnesota gave me 100k Notre Dame will probably give me more.

Hey! Will be attending admitted students tour Feb 3rd. Any dress code advice for a southern Californian who hasn't worn a suit in 4 years (military). Not sure I know how to dress for law school, let alone in the cold lol

I am fairly certain that when I was looking at info re: the preview days, they said to just be casual and jeans were fine. So I'd assume the same for other tours! Also, as an undergrad who walked through the law school numerous times, it seemed like a chill place and no one was dressed up whenever I was there (the business school on the other hand...). And also, because it's cold, you'll be buried beneath layers anyway My suggestion: jeans + button down shirt and/or nice sweater. If there is snow on the ground, and if you have them, I recommend boots (not like full-on winter boots, but something like Red Wing leather boots...god that sounds so Minnesotan of me).str8shot122 wrote:Hey! Yeah my hope from NDLS is 110k or around that. Surely I can manage to find a good job with a law degree from NDLS and over two years of tuition covered hahaJD_Kingfish wrote:Congrats! Kind of surprising cause I got full-ride but my number is just 75 percentile and I am an international student. I guess they consider many aspects of an applicant besides numbers.

Just got the call - I'm in!
GPA < 25, LSAT > 75
I'll be at the admitted students dinner/event in DC next week, if anyone else will be there!

I have no idea...I hadn't checked my status checker in a couple of days, but when I checked right after the call the date was 2/1. If it changed before the call, it was likely only by a few hours.

Congrats! Also just got in via voicemail. She mentioned the DC reception; I will probably call back to get details. Were you told where it will be held?floatie wrote:Just got the call - I'm in!

Does anybody know if Minnesota gives scholarship amounts greater than tuition? The ABA 509 report says there are no scholarships greater than full tuition, but (including this cycle) several folks have reported higher scholarship amounts on LSN.

Yeah, I haven't been there since I was an undergrad intern in 2011. Just be careful not to touch any doorknobs or table surfaces with your bare hands...floatie wrote:Oh jeez...what's wrong with it?ekg212 wrote: Oh God the Mad Hatter.... I used to work across from there.... don't stay after 8 pm.

Just a lot of bros.... it might have changed in the last year but I've had guys straight up steal my drinks from the bar top while hitting on my friends. Who does that? Oddly good dinner menu though. Just overall a weird place... ?chichi1992 wrote:Yeah, I haven't been there since I was an undergrad intern in 2011.
