They are SOOOOO stingy at GSU - only 27% of students had a ship last year. They also do not offer a travel stipend to visit., And charge like $37k/yr out-of-state. I'm not impressed

Is anybody still waiting for any changes to their app status? I still haven't heard anything since my hold notice letter on Jan. 30. I feel like this does not bode well for me. I feel like I'm justified, at this point, in calling in and making an inquiry.

Did you ever call in? I haven't heard anything in three weeks other than a complete app "In Review"

I submitted on 1/20. Went complete on 2/06. I still have nothing either. While I was applying I remember I even emailed admissions asking for a fee waiver and I never got a response. :(

They had at least replied to me and gave me a fee waiver (without even asking for my GPA or LSAT). Not sure what's going on over there but some updates would be nice.

Well, just to clarify, I did get a hold notification email on 1/30 stating that a decision would be rendered in 10 days but haven't heard anything since. From what I gather based upon speaking with admissions, they review apps in groups. If you haven't heard anything, then it may simply be because they haven't gotten to your group yet (I wouldn't start freaking out and just give it time). I was informed that I would be getting a decision in 10 days and its been much longer than that. I've pretty much have been glued to my phone, checking emails, for the last week and the stress is going to give me an aneurysm.

FYI, my app currently states "Ready for Committee Review". Hang in there everyone.

Can anyone who's been accepted to GSU tell me how they were first notified? Was it via email, checking their app status, phone, or snail mail?

Hey guys! My LSAT and GPA are both between the 25% and 50% stats. Is anyone else in the same boat? Has anyone been accepted with similar scores?

Is anyone still waiting on a response? I've been "in review" since 2/8 with no movement

I am in the exact same boat. LSAT (25th%). GPA (50th%). Applied 1/17. On hold 1/30. In second review 2/28.

I am in the exact same boat. 155 LSAT (25th%). 3.41 GPA (50th%). Applied 1/17. In review 1/18. On hold 1/30. In second review 2/28. The wait has been torture.
My roommate has similar stats (157/3.4) and got in a while ago, but didn't get any $$.

Any reverse splitters have any luck this cycle. LSAT ~ 25% and GPA >> 75% ?

And I've tried calling their office a couple times with no one picking up the phone during their business hours.

Does anyone know what a normal waiting period is for GSU? Once the application goes complete, how long is it before a decision is usually reached? I'm so nervous to hear back! :?

I heard back 9 days after I went complete not sure if that's "normal" though. Sending good vibes your way!

My application went from "Complete" on 3/1 to "In review" today, 3/14. Says it could be another 4-6 weeks for a decision.
