For those of you from LSN that were waitlisted today, when did you go under review?

Thanks!

Do we think today was the last wave before the first deposit deadline? I was not part of it so just trying to figure out what to expect from here. Probably need to come to terms with depositing elsewhere though.

I submitted the app 3/1, UR 3/31, then waitlisted today. I was feeling good about getting accepted to BC (gpa = 25, lsat way above 75). Not sure if this was the last wave but it's looking like their class is filling up. Best of luck to you!

Thanks. I have the same timeline as you and pretty much the same stats (or very similar) but I was not part of today's wave so I'm a little confused. We shall see! If not I'm happy with Fordham :). Good luck to you too!!

I applied first week of February, complete shortly after, and have been UR for 2.5 weeks now. LSAT & GPA both over 75th. Not part of today's wave. So confused.

I got the same "first offer is best offer," response, but is offering post-deposit bumps a thing that schools do? I've never personally heard of it.

Did a visit today. I'm on the waitlist. Just so all you WL people know: ZERO SCHOLARSHIP will be offered if they offer you a seat. So unless you're willing to pay full sticker...

I find that hard to believe, since they've offered scholarships off the WL in May and June the last several years...

That is what the dean of admissions told me in my face to face interview. Take it as you will. She didn't have my file up or know anything about me when I walked in either, so it isn't like she meant just i wouldn't be getting any if admitted.

Biglaw jobs up 1%, and class size is getting much smaller which is also nice, not sure if that trend is still continuing this year though.

I also find this very hard to believe. Considering the fact that a large majority of the people withdrawing will have been offered scholarships (and chosen to go to better schools or accept scholarships elsewhere), they're not just going to keep that money that they offered and do nothing with it. They're going to offer that money to their best candidates on the waitlist. Especially considering a lot of people were waitlisted this year as a possible YP that should've been easy admits. This is probably far more likely for candidates who will be riding out the waitlist all summer. But definitely not right away.

this may be weird, but do students ever try to negotiate a scholly bump over the summer after they've already committed? What about in between 1L + 2L?

Well bring that idea up with admissions because they don't have the same outlook. But hey, believe me don't believe me, you'll find out soon enough when they start pulling people off.
