Probably not yield protect. You're right in the median for both, unless you told them you were looking at similar places that are competitors

Doubtful with a median LSAT and a 75th GPA.

Edit: it's all speculation but I would personally look towards my PS and LORs if I was in that situation

Edit edit: someone with similar numbers made a thread saying they were waitlisted also.

Their median and 75th are the same - both 163. I did apply to a lot of their competitors. What do you mean you would look toward your PS and LORs?

As in the problem might be there and not with your numbers. Though the more people who seem to be having the same issue the less that seems likely

Just received the package in the mail - was in a week or so before. Nothing interesting included - just a brochure and letter, but not scholarship info.

Yeah, I noticed in the email they said we won't get any scholarship info until February.

Waitlisted 165 3.84. Is it YP or maybe there's a fundamental mistake in my application? I'm freaking out.

I'd say that's a yield protect.

Yeah...based on what's being reported on LSN this definitely is not a YP issue.

I wonder what it is then? Wouldn't you think some of these numbers are pretty admissible for BC?

Waitlisted with a 162 LSAT and a foreign GPA classified as 'Superior' (I'm told that roughly corresponds with a 4.0 GPA)

I really thought this was the one university that would accept me! :(

I don't understand why these stats didn't get in. Here's mine if it helps?: 161, 3.89, theater and gov double major, three recs (one theater, two gov professors. The theater and one gov were presumably great because I had a very good relationship with both). Two page personal statement about how directing strengthened me as a law student; concise and I thought well written. A lot of student council, honor council, admissions committee. I also wrote an addendum explaining why I think my GPA is more indicative of my success. I'm wondering if they're looking more at the soft's this year.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
