I have commitments in Lubbock so Tech is the one for me.
Incidentally, my status just got updated to ''Completed.'' That was quick. The admissions gods must be listening.

I was looking on the LSAC website when I saw the "complete" status. I don't think Tech has processed the report though as I haven't got an email from them yet.

does ED acceptance come with a full ride? if not, that was not a good decision to make because you're above their 75ths.rundontwalk wrote:I have commitments in Lubbock so Tech is the one for me.

Ophhhfff, dude. Lemme go ahead and second this post here. You should not have ED'd unless there's a full ride waiting because now you have no leverage for scholarship negotiation. Just promise me you won't go TTU Law sticker. That'd be insanely bad.

yeah you need to withdraw that ED right now. email them RIGHT NOW!!! you're gonna get in, don't go without a scholarship, otherwise you're going to be a broke graduate slaving away to pay off loans and questioning whether or not you should have even gone to law school.ponderingmeerkat wrote:Ophhhfff, dude. I just emailed the admissions folks about the possibility of switching from ED to regular decision.

Assuming it is possible I will switch Monday. Do you think they will let me?

I'm not sure if they will switch you, but if they do, apply to UH, UT, SMU, Baylor for scholarship leverage. Your stats should get you significant money at Tech.rundontwalk wrote:Assuming it is possible I will switch Monday. Do you think they will let me?

I applied to Tech in early September regular decision. Took about a month before I went under review. Hoping for a decision soon, but who knows really. I blanketed Texas schools and added some out of state schools for scholly negotiation based off of myLSN research. Good luck! Tech has a cool Mexico study abroad program I would totally do if I go there.

Is it just me, or are most of the links on Tech law's website not working? I keep getting "error 404"

Just saw an email saying my application is complete! (10/28)
Can someone send me a link to the status checker if you know where it is? Having trouble finding it.

Does everyone have a school tracking no. in their status tracker? I'm tying to figure out if it's been there the whole time or it's new...

Did you see specific admissions date data for tech on lsn or myLSN? Whichever it is, please send me the link. I thought they only had timeline data on the top 100.rundontwalk wrote:Thanks fort he link to the status checker. My app's been forwarded for review. I was just guesstimating based on this (http://texastech.lawschoolnumbers.com/applicants/1415).
Plus those who've applied RD by now are guaranteed a decision before January, so the first week of December I think makes sense.

Nice. Yeah, I found that after I commented earlier. Great new (to me) aspect of LSN I can waste time on for all my schools haha. Just what I needed.rundontwalk wrote:I was just guesstimating based on this (http://texastech.lawschoolnumbers.com/applicants/1415).

I've read at least one report of someone who applied RD and got accepted in mid November though. Who knows.
