Not applying but just wanted to pop in and say one of my siblings is a student there now and absolutely loves it. Coming out with a great job lined up in a beautiful area.

In with a 90k scholarship. Was told I would have had a full ride with only a 3.3 scholarship so that hurts. Stetson started as my safety school but after visiting the beach and school moved to #2 spot. I most likely will end up going there.

Im still waiting for UF and FSU, but I got accepted to Stetson and will go there. It IS expensive but its not as expensive as UM for sure lol ... that's what I keep telling myself to feel better. I will have to go at sticker unless they have 2L scholarships.

I haven't yet but I had a meeting with someone in admissions on Friday and she said it was a possibility.

Any luck negotiating at the meeting? I emailed them late last week and they haven't replied.

I didn't try to. I had just been accepted about 30 minutes before my meeting. I asked if they would consider negotiating and she said it was a possibility. I would try after the seat deposit deadline.

As far as seat deposits go, did anyone have success trying to get their deadline extended?

I negotiated successfully from 30k to 35k per year, but only with a 3+ increase in my LSAT score. They will only consider it if your UGPA or LSAT goes up. I initially had 154/3.04 but great softs and URM/Non-Trad. Went up to 157 but couldn't get full ride.

Question: My status checker came up as decision made; email within 24 hours. However, my checklist now has the boxes for seat deposit and id issued. Is this a good sign, as in im accepted? Cant see any other reason they would have added those checklist boxes.

In with hefty scholarship! Still waiting to hear from UF, but they're taking their sweet time, so I put my seat deposit down!

I'm also looking for a roommate if anyone is looking as well! :D

Are you looking for a roommate by chance? I've been looking at apartments near campus and am trying to find a fellow 1L to live with!

I will most certainly be looking for a roommate, not sure how we could contact each other since PM has been disabled. Anyone going to the open house this Saturday?
