Hmm...who knows then. I, do have a future lsat score but, emailed them and asked if I could still be considered with my SEPT score based on the fact that it's A) competitive and B) I applied ED. who knows...

Interesting...If they haven't replied to your email yet then maybe they haven't gotten a chance to process your request yet. Might be worth it to just give them a call and make sure they're not waiting on that future LSAT score or anything.

ooglygoogly wrote:Also checking in :D Submitted my application on Friday! UW Law seems to be a regional school with some employed here and there in CA. If you mean like corporate law firms, yeah T14ers take jobs at big firms in Seattle, but there's quite a bit of UW alumni in big firms too if you look up associates at any of the big firms.
Yeah I did a little browsing and it seems that UW is pretty strong as well as Seattle University too for firm placement, surprisingly. Hopefully this is good as I would love to move to Seattle and crack a firm job. Good luck with this cycle people :)

Congrats! Current 3L here if you have any questions.
Thanks! What are clinic opportunities like? Are they competitive? I didn't really see anything specific to prosecution, does UW partner w/ King CO for internships?

Congrats to all those who have already been accepted. I moved from 'Ready for Review' to 'In Review' today. I didn't submit until earlier this month.

Does anyone have any ideas about what other schools I could apply to in the hopes of leveraging a higher scholarship at UW? All the other schools in the Northwest are ranked much lower, which makes me doubt that UW would really care about trying to like match a scholarship offer from Seattle University or other regional schools.

The UC-Law schools (LA, Irvine, Hastings) might good places. I'd guess any school similarly ranked to UW would be good places to start. UWs pull is really only strong in the PNW so as long as you have other similarly locally strong schools I'd imagine UW might feel a little pressured to throw some $ your way to entice you to stick with them.

Hi mcmand. Whadya know about the prospects for in/externing at the WA AGO's office? Are there a variety of opportunities, or just a sort of universal/general student opportunity? Is it competitive? Any other thoughts? Thanks!
