We do! I ended up finding a link to it on one of the monthly newsletter emails they've been sending us. You just have to request to be added, I think.Khalid1994aziz wrote:Does our class have a Facebook page set up?

What're people wearing to this shindig on Friday? Business casual?

Wish I could attend but I'll see y'all soon enough. I'd recommend a festive Cotton Blazer with cuffed shorts?TakeItToTrial wrote:What're people wearing to this shindig on Friday? Business casual?

Does anyone know how short this wait list is? Is it possible to get off of it? Is there anything else I can legit do?

So when is everyone getting to Seattle? Would anyone be down for a little TLS get together before classes start?

I know someone who just gave up their spot for a T20. There's definitely still hope if your admission doesn't affect the medians.mcmand wrote:Have you already sent in a letter of continued interest? Did you get any additional letters of recommendation? Neither of those things will hurt. Although at this point the only way you get in really is if someone gives up their spot. So you could get a call in late August.akua24 wrote:Does anyone know how short this wait list is? Is it possible to get off of it? Is there anything else I can legit do?

Hellllll yeah. I'm getting there at the beginning of August so maybe sometime after that. I'll defer to the judgments of our native Seattleites on a good bar choice.Capt_Beatty wrote:Oh yes Id' be in.PDX4343 wrote:So when is everyone getting to Seattle? I have sent in my letters of continued interest, i have had folks send in letters of recommendation on my behalf to the dean of admissions, probably like 4 or 5 letters on top of my 2 originals. The only thing I haven't done is talk to the dean himself, but I am hesitant because I have had so many letters sent in for me. Of course, they are not rando letters, but people who actually can speak to my qualifications. Is it recommended I reach out to the dean?mcmand wrote:Have you already sent in a letter of continued interest? Did you get any additional letters of recommendation? For those who aren't on the Facebook page, some of us are meeting up Saturday 8/19 at the Fremont bar near the U at 5:00. Everyone's welcome!

I just looked at my tuition account balance on the MyUW page. It looks like they haven't factored my scholarship, as the balance says I owe $14,493.00 for fall quarter.
Can another scholarship recipient confirm if this is normal?

Mine's showing the same thing. Looks like they haven't applied scholarships to this yet.TakeItToTrial wrote:I just looked at my tuition account balance on the MyUW page. It looks like they haven't factored my scholarship, as the balance says I owe $14,493.00 for fall quarter.

A warehouse fire ruined the publisher's legal research series...lol. The book is being reprinted and should arrive back in their warehouses next week.Khalid1994aziz wrote:yeah, doesn't seem to be on amazon either. someone on the facebook group said that the bookstore would get more copies this week, but there's nothing as of yet.Capt_Beatty wrote:Anyone else having a hard time purchasing Washington Legal Research?
