1/13: Well... just got the update via status checker. WL. With a 161/3.58, it came as a bit of a surprise.

LSAT: 164 GPA: 3.79

I've got pending offers from Bama (in with $$) and Indiana (full tuition), so I'm going to have to take some visits to figure out what works best for me.

I visited UGA this past week and really enjoyed it. Nice facilities, friendly admissions staff. Athens is a fun place, too.

Hey everyone! I'm a UGA grad, and I'd love to tell you all about Athens and Georgia in general if you have any questions. I decided not to apply to UGA Law just based on numbers, but I have a lot of friends that have attended and they absolutely loved it! Feel free to reach out if you want any suggestions for great places around town if you want to do an informal trip to visit! :D

I was WL at UGA with a 161/3.58 and on LSN somebody else was WL with a 161/3.86. Yet EVERYONE who scored a 162 who admitted. The data doesnt lie from LSN.From what I can gather, unless you were a URM, if you scored below the 162 LSAT median, it was an automatic WL. So much for a holistic approach to admissions... :x :x

WL via status checker today with 160 LSAT, 3.9 GPA, and strong softs. Already have a full ride at my state schools & Ohio State, half at GW, $$ at Bama, and acceptance at Georgetown so I will be withdrawing. Very surprising/disappointing.

I was also waitlisted a couple of weeks ago. Splitter at 167 and sub 3.0 GPA. I was definitely disappointed.

Does anyone know any information about the waitlist process? I know it says some people could be admitted as soon as a week later, but it seems like this cannot be possible because waitlist admissions usually don't happen until after at least the first deposit deadline.

For those of you on the waitlist, do you intend on submitting a LOCI? If so, when? I have heard mixed opinions on when to start sending them and am unsure of what to do.

That's what I wanted to do, but I kept seeing people recommend not sending until around April. Thanks for the response!

On the waitlist with everyone else with a below median LSAT. Does anyone think a LOCI and a campus visit will give me a good chance of getting accepted?

Not sure...I did a campus visit in the fall and sent a LOCI late last week and no reply from them. It seems like they're waitlisting a lot of people and not really rejecting that many. Here's to hoping they start pulling from the waitlist fairly soon.

Submitted application yesterday and just received status checker and it states under review already. Also, it says process takes 6-8 weeks. Anyone know if this is typically true? I'm just impatient tbh

It took less than a week for them to give me a decision and from what I've heard they've generally been pretty quick with other applications as well.

I submitted 1/4, complete on 1/6, and have been under review since. I'm under both 25ths so I'm more surprised I wasn't an auto reject than anything lol.

So since I'm on the waitlist I have too much time on my hands and naturally I've been scouring LSN data. From the limited sample size it looks like a lot of waitlist decisions came in middle to late February which isn't too bad. Good luck everybody!

Anyone else here going to ASW? I think I'm pretty much sold on coming here, as they upped my scholarship some. Also really enjoyed my visit - beautiful facilities and friendly people.

Did they up your scholarship after negotiating or how did that go down?
