Admitted via email this morning with scholarship offer. Tuition equalization plus 10,000 per year, which leaves me paying 9,000 per year in tuition to attend. Will be withdrawing as I received a full tuition scholarship from Alabama. Good luck to everyone else!

Got acceptance email today 11/21/2016. Applied on 11/20/2016.

Responded to email asking when scholarship offers would be sent. Received reply with $5000 per year and tuition equalization. Waiting to hear from other schools, and will then try to negotiate based on offers.

Congrats. I emailed them last week asking when scholarship information would be sent but still haven't heard back. Did you just respond to the acceptance email?

My scholarship came in a separate email from my acceptance but at the same time. For some reason the scholarship info went into my junk folder though, so maybe check that.

Yep. I responded directly to the address I received it from, and kept it in the same email chain.

Congrats on your acceptance, and don't worry too much about it. I'm sure you will hear back soon, and there is still a lot of time left.

Just checked my email folders and nothing yet. Only thing I've gotten is my acceptance email and an email about the admitted students group. Even without scholarship, UGA is pretty inexpensive once you establish residency. Hopefully I'll get a response to my email today.

Do pretty much all OOS applicants get the in state tuition equalizer? How common is it? I'm trying to put my scholarship package into context.

I highly doubt everyone gets it, but it's certainly not uncommon. The nice thing about that scholarship (from the school's perspective) is that it's a one-year scholarship - you can become a resident during 1L, so the school gets to give the same scholarships to 1Ls every year.

I don't know anyone who didn't get the TES - it's nearly a guarantee (at least has been for the last couple of cycles). From my own experience, establishing residency is super easy and you can also have the rate apply to any classes you take over the summer.

In as of today! In-state and 10,000 a year. Waiting to hear back from other schools but this is a very tempting option.

I went last week to do a visit of the school and meet with the Director of Admissions, it was a great trip and definitely makes UGA extremely high on my list. Their in-state tuition is hard to beat.

Has anyone gotten an email with instructions on how to set up your UGA email address yet? Admitted students page says we should be getting one but haven't seen it yet.

I got one like three days after I applied in early September and got excited. I set it up and everything. Then.....crickets...ever since. I called to ask why I was asked to do that and the admissions officer said....it was a mistake! LOL

Still waiting to hear back. LSAT > 75% and GPA <25%

What has typically been the turn around time for everyone? I applied the day before yesterday, 1/3. And how were you notified? Status checker, email, or phone call? Just wondering what to expect from here. Also has anyone been waitlisted?

Submitted way back in October and my status checked read "under review" since then. Do y'all think I'm just going to be rejected? 3.81/152

Update: Was waitlisted via status checker today. Not super bummed about it since I knew it would be a reach, but still a little sad.
