Received a $7500/yr scholarship. Will probably be withdrawing, because I have received full scholarship + stipend at FSU, and a 65% scholarship at Alabama. However, if anyone has any experience negotiating with UGA, I would love to hear whether it was sucessful or not.

Same! I live in ATL so it's fairly convenient

Any chance we'll see some waitlist movement soon? Seems like they've been quiet the past week or so, and it looks like on LSN that they admit some people off the waitlist around mid-February.

I've noticed the same thing. Anyone want to comment on my theory that they may start taking higher GPA apps off the waitlist first because they only accepted above median LSATs?

Well last year they definitely stressed the higher GPA. They had the highest entering class GPA in the history of the school last year. I'm sure they'll want to be around the same stats if possible.

In a similar boat - they replied basically saying 'We'll keep this on file if we choose to start offering increases'

Below both medians. I was waitlisted. Not an URM.

There should be the most movement around whenever first deposits are due. There will be a better idea of who is or is not matriculating and that will dictate the number of open slots.

CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDERS!

I got a call today from Admissions asking if I saw their email about a scholarship increase (I did not). Turns out it was in my Gmail Spam folder.

So reception tonight? I'm just now realizing that a 6pm start time means I'll be hustling across Atlanta at peak rush hour... See y'all there!

Hey everyone! I applied pretty late in the cycle, and my status says it is in committee review and will take 6-8 weeks to render a decision. Is that the same thing as being waitlisted, or does this happen to everyone?

Just got an unsolicited $5000 a year scholarship. Previously only had in-state equalizer. This is going to make my decision much harder.

Accepted today, was in review for about a week. >25% LSAT and > 75% GPA. Truth be told I think it was the GPA and work experience that helped. Hopefully scholarship information is to follow. Seems some people got theirs right away and others are still waiting. Any idea on the expected wait time for a scholly info?

I applied on February 16th and was accepted February 22nd. Still have heard nothing about merit scholarship. Is this normal?

Did, didn't have anything. I emailed them and was told to submit my deposit early because they might have leftover money after scholarship awards are given out by April 1st. So apparently that means I got $0, which is disappointing.

Was told the same thing when trying to negotiate up. It's very disappointing considering what other higher ranked schools are offering.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
