Raised my offer by $21k total... after I'd already committed to another school and withdrawn my application here. No regrets.

Just that I have been using a lot of exclamation marks of late. Don't read much into them. Took a lot out of me avoiding them in this post.jessmeesh wrote:You seem excited by the bumped you half of what you asked for?BEng,MBA,FRM,JD(?) wrote:Bump of 18K over three years! Right? How do they expect $2,000 a year to influence my decision in any way? Oh well..jlc058 wrote:ugh same why even if up it at all at that point it might feel worsePDX4343 wrote:Raised my offer by a whopping $6,000 total. Will likely be withdrawing soon.

Denied an increase. I think an issue with their procedure is that the form came out so long ago and you can only do it once. I've received some of my best offers since filling out the form.
Oh well, see ya GW

FWIW, I was able to just email them when I got new offers and they updated my request with them.mrtux45 wrote:Denied an increase. I think an issue with their procedure is that the form came out so long ago and you can only do it once. I've received some of my best offers since filling out the form.

Can't hurt. Let them know you can't attend at this price point and what it would take to get you there - if that's the caseaaron1621 wrote:Just got the email saying no scholarship bump, should I email back asking again?

Thanks for mentioning this. The offer I used on the form was just bumped up. I'll email GW now and ask them to update it.PDX4343 wrote:

Has anyone checked with GW Law whether or not we are allowed to take a guest along for the Preview Day? I am planning on taking my sister along.
Thanks,

I checked. Guests not allowed in the event. But can obviously hang around in the campus library etc.rwajo12 wrote:I am wondering the exact same thing. can we bring a guest?BEng,MBA,FRM,JD(?) wrote:Hello all,

I also got the same 18k bump as some others in here. Looks like they're reticent to bump up more than that. Oh well. I'll just go to WASHU for 40k less and a dramatically lower COL

I only got a 9K bump. I have better offers from higher ranked schools. GW is out for me.

Re: George Washington c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Same boat! I got a 10K-18K (somewhere in there) bump, that is still lower than all the scholarship offers I sent them at better ranked schools with better COLs. Granted they have the D.C. angle going for them, but the COL is way against them. Still the lowest offer on the table- without even considering their high COL :/ Will have to withdraw.jessmeesh wrote:I only got a 9K bump. I have better offers from higher ranked schools. Also got only a 9K bump. Try a little harder, GW...jessmeesh wrote:I only got a 9K bump. I have better offers from higher ranked schools. GW is out for me.
