Did scholarship information come in the email or in the letter?

I can confirm that GW had received 100 requests for scholarship increases by Law Preview Day in March. From Admissions:

"If there were lower scholarship amounts--and we award as low as $4,000/year, some students did receive substantial increases especially if they qualified for need-based grants and then got bumped out of eligibility. There are a number of factors that got into play beyond just the GPA and lsat.--typically lower offers receive more substantial increases."

FWIW, IMHO it is always worth a shot to respectfully advocate why you deserve an increase. I think many are reluctant to alienate the school, but I believe a law school should and will appreciate zealous advocacy in a respectful and non-entitled manner. After all, they are training lawyers. My experiences suggest that the admissions team is patient, responsive, and thoughtful.

So how would you recommend to go about it, to request an increase.

How long after you submitted the scholarship reconsideration form before they got back to you?

So I was told that it is possible to have the large 2nd/3rd tuition deposits waived if you sign a form of commitment. Does anyone know if this also means you must withdraw from all WL's? I'm on several T14 WL's and not sure if it would be worth giving up any chance of getting in those schools.

Im at a 161/ 3.82, got 75,000 originally then submitted my reconsideration request and was denied. Is it worth trying again, and if so, how?

ya'll are some lucky ducks. Similar stats and only got 30k total. Not worth it at that cost imo
