It's been blank since my CAS report was submitted at the end of Feb (I applied with a Feb LSAT). I was honestly worried that my application might have been incomplete and was considering calling...
Same here! Got my email today during lunch and when I checked my SC it was still blank since I applied in February.
Congrats! Not much for the status checker, I guess :)

Edit - removed repeated word.

$$ comes via snail mail in the admitted student packet. You should get yours in a day or two.

Can anyone speak to the drop in rankings? I know rankings aren't the end all be all but it was a significant drop so it's caught my attention.

It's a harsh truth that W&M' ranks the same as GMU. I'm also curious of the drop in their ranking.

It's a harsh truth that W&M's ranks is the same as GMU. I do not care about the ranking but I have the feeling that W&M may become the second "American University " which has slunk in the ranking.
 The new AU. Put that way, you've got me pretty worried. It truly is a very harsh truth that they're tied with Mason. I just can't figure out if this is the new world order or they're having a especially rough year. Based on the AU comparison, I'll put you down for the former :)

Interested to see what I hear from W&M. I just checked LSN and there is for some reason a gap on the graph around people with similar stats as mine. No reported acceptances, WL's, etc. Strange thing to see, builds even more suspense.

W&M wants to prorate my scholarship if/when I become an instate resident for my 2L & 3L. This brings the cost up by $20,000 for all three years, versus allowing me to become an instate and save almost $10k a year in tuition. Has anyone had any luck or tried to ask them to not prorate the scholarship? Any opinions on this? Out of all schools I've applied to none have said they would "prorate the scholarship amount", so I was really surprised.

Status checker says most decisions will be rendered in the month of March after the application deadline when the applicant pool can be known and assessed. I haven't seen much LSN activity since the March 1 deadline, so I think it's possible a very large wave goes out soon. They say all applicants should hear by April 1, so the clock is ticking. LSN shows that about 34% of applicants who have self-reported on the site haven't heard back. I know these numbers aren't completely inclusive but still interesting.

i was accepted very quickly and ambushed by my acceptance email. however, i was not expecting any sort of indication that my file was moving while i was waiting as W&M is notorious for being radio silent.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
