Good to know, thanks for the info!SeanORaff33 wrote:I think you might have to contact them for your own unique link. I have one, but it says in the directions to only submit the form once. The form couldnt be simpler, however. it is just name, school names, and school amounts with a box for notes at the bottom.Sean_33 wrote:Would you mind pointing me in the direction of the reconsideration application?SeanORaff33 wrote:Has anyone here had luck with the reconsideration process?
I got full at 3 schools (3 schools is the max you can submit) and only about 40% (18k) and W&M. I just sent in the reconsideration application. Ill let y'all know how it goes for me

Got accepted today. Sent in a late application last week. Does anyone know if scholarship info comes with the admissions letter?

Scholarship info comes in the letter you receive via snail mail. My snail mail letter came in the day after I received the emailVinnyGambini Jr. wrote:Got accepted today. Sent in a late application last week. Does anyone know if scholarship info comes with the admissions letter?

My snail mail (iirc) took a bit longer after the email. But the email was acceptance only, then the letter was a full admissions packet.lk7999 wrote:Scholarship info comes in the letter you receive via snail mail. Any thoughts on whether it is appropriate to bring a significant other to admitted students weekend? I'd like them to feel part of the process, but also don't want it to be weird or detract from the weekend. Is there an established norm?

Wondering the same thing. I know parents are a no-no, and at 27 they haven't been involved in the process but my SO and I are looking at getting married while I'm in law school so having him come and see where I would be going to school and the area where he would be living is important.Austin_27 wrote:Any thoughts on whether it is appropriate to bring a significant other to admitted students weekend? I don't really see anything wrong with bringing an SO; after all, they're coming with you too. I've heard some people advise bringing SOs only to the social parts of ASD, and not the academic parts. But if W&M allows guests at their ASD (I haven't checked to see if they do or not) and you really want your SO to be involved in the process, my personal advice is to forget what everyone else thinks and bring them. I'm bringing my SO with me because there's no way I'm dragging them halfway across the country sight unseen.KME89 wrote:Wondering the same thing. Haven't seen any movement for WM on LSN in almost two weeks, do y'all think this means another decision wave should be soon? The application deadline was March 1 so I would imagine more decisions would be coming out soon, especially for the people who applied months back.

Do it, no one will care. Honestly, many brought parents to the one's I've gone to so far and it didn't seem like a deal at all. People may silently judge but whatever.Austin_27 wrote:Any thoughts on whether it is appropriate to bring a significant other to admitted students weekend? Especially if your SO will be moving with you, its totally appropriate to bring them, at least to check the place out. FWIW my SO's coming with me but doesn't want to go to the actual law school events, so he's going to be scouting out housing and such at all of the ASD's I'm going to while I do all of the admitted students stuff.bbmayes wrote:Would bring an SO over parents, way more adult...shotgunheist wrote:Do it, no one will care. A consulting firm posted the 2018 US News Top Law Schools a few days before the official list comes out on the 14th. Looks like W&M dropped to 41, anybody have any insight?

That kind of sucks. But USNWR rankings are largely meaningless, so it shouldn't affect your decision too muchFunandFriendship wrote:A consulting firm posted the 2018 US News Top Law Schools a few days before the official list comes out on the 14th.
