W&M C/O of 2020 applicants (2016-2017)

Post by Bob loblaw law blog » Tue Sep 27, 2016 4:03 pm

Just got in but couldn't find a thread for William and Mary, so I figured I might as well make one

Numbers:

LSAT medians (25%-50%-75%): 157-162-164
GPA medians (25%-50%-75%): 3.49-3.75-3.88
234 students

I can't post pics yet, but if someone wants to reserve the second post to put the LSN graphs and whatnot up that would be awesome.

E-mail and snail mail, same as the previous poster. Scholarship info came in the mail.

Checking in.

I'll be visiting the school next week and applying shortly after that. Pretty interested to see what Williamsburg is like.

I wish the same had happened for me. Nothing today. Crossing fingers for it to arrive tomorrow. Not anticipating anything merit-based if Taxman14 didn't get a full ride with 174/4.1. Yikes!

It was close to 95% Scholarship, so I don't want to make it seem like it wasn't generous. But I'm trying to negotiate for more.

Still, tough cycle if numbers that far above the 75th (164/2.88) don't get the full scholly.

I recall reading somewhere that because of thier "low tuition cost and low cost of living" w&m doesn't give fulls but will go close. Could be wrong. Obviously it's a cop out on thier part, but it sounds like they may just not give full scholarships.

Yea I found it to be strange, especially since I applied so early in the cycle, but I'll keep you in the loop if something changes.

Welp, figured it out. W&M didn't give full tuition (or more) scholarships last year. See their 509: http://law.wm.edu/admissions/consumer-i ... badata.pdf

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
