Update: I got my package over the weekend. $33,000 a year! I'm seriously thinking of attending if WUSTL and Emory can't top this :D

Checking in, no news for me yet. Hopefully soon!

I went to W&M for undergrad and loved it, so if anyone has questions about the Williamsburg area, I'd be happy to answer. :)

Did any DC area folks get invited to the reception on Feb. 27th?

Thanks for offering! What's the atmosphere like at w&m in general? Left or right leaning? Party/frat culture prevelant?

I sent my app on 10/1 and have heard NOTHING regarding a decision since then. I'm right at the median for LSAT and between 25 and 50 for GPA. Anyone else in a similar situation or did they lose my app?

The atmosphere in general is very friendly! People have lots of Tribe Pride and are helpful to one another. I love the colonial tourist town right across the street from campus. I would say it's probably mostly liberal but there's definitely both sides on campus. There is Greek life but only about 1/3 of undergrads take part. If it tells you anything, we have a term called a "twamp" (typical William and Mary person), referring to someone who is in general very nerdy, studies a lot, and involved in lots of extracurricular stuff.

Good info, thanks again! I'm a pretty quiet nerdy type myself. I'm excited to visit for admit weekend and get a feel for it, but it's seeming like it will be a good match for me :)

Possibly so. I don't think I will be riding out a W&M waitlist to pay sticker.

Good to know, thanks all! At least we're all in the same boat. Good luck!

Exact same boat. I'm 100% sure this means waitlist or ding, and those don't come until end of March. Will likely be withdrawing.

Nice! I'm assuming since it's at Akin Gump, we should be wearing business formal to this, right?

Yeah, I think business formal is the safe choice here

I think you might have to contact them for your own unique link. I have one, but it says in the directions to only submit the form once. The form couldnt be simpler, however. it is just name, school names, and school amounts with a box for notes at the bottom.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
