Thank you. That's very re-assuring! Yeah, I'm pretty normal too.mrgstephe wrote:I was at or above both 75ths. It was explicitly stated that the interview was 100% optional and would not negatively affect my admissions chances if declined.alpinespring wrote:Anyone here with LSAT/GPA above 75ths and offered an interview?
If so, are you generally considered a "weirdo" in your life?
I mean being on TSL kind of gives it away, but still, I don't want to be the only weirdo who's alarmed that the admissions office saw through the app.
My interviewer did not know my LSAT (or at least claimed that he didn't), but he did know my GPA because it was on the resume I sent him before the interview.
He also mentioned TLS in the interview (which I found funny), saying that he had used it extensively during his law school search and tenure.
I'd consider myself fairly normal (despite being on here). Mid-20s, full time engineering job, family, house, etc

What is the current consensus on the feeler e-mail? Do we think there will be another wave sent out or is now the time to just go ahead and request one from them?

My comment here is not helpful to answer your question, but just the concept of requesting a feeler email is hilarious to me.mosunny wrote:What is the current consensus on the feeler e-mail? So, either a) the admissions office lied, or b) I'm calling shenanigans.

Just got an invitation to interview with a gtown alumni. A good sign I suppose? How often do people get rejected/wait listed after an interview?

Congrats! Not too often, from what I can tell. That's not to say that it doesn't happen. I've read a few posts here by members who were rejected or WLed 3+ weeks post-interview.springmatters wrote:Just got an invitation to interview with a gtown alumni. A good sign I suppose? It seems like Gtown is conducting interviews for both YP and borderline applicants. That said, an interview offer from them is a good sign.

The scholarship feeler email said "The Committee hopes to make initial scholarship awards in early March. For those students who are offered merit scholarship awards, the response deadline will be in early April." I'm hoping it'll be earlier than "late March at the earliest" if response deadlines start in early April!88234 wrote:I called the office and theyn said late March at the earliest.pizzagoblin wrote:Wow! Has anyone who didn't get a PILS invite this week emailed and asked about it?
I'm very tempted to email on Monday and ask for more info. My attending Georgetown is partially reliant on PILS, so I was definitely hoping to get an invite. But I don't want to be obnoxious.
If any of you emailed, did you get a reply?
