Invited to the group interview in NYC next Friday (Jan 20th). From what everyone has posted, it sounds like it'll be a fun, situational type interview, so I'm not feeling too nervous.

Don't be. Just be sure to get there a bit early, as the interview says. Entrances to some of these buildings are... not the most straightforward.feefeeriri wrote:Invited to the group interview in NYC next Friday (Jan 20th). Dinged via email about an hour ago. I'm a bit surprised I wasn't at least waitlisted but this was the second to last school (the other being an extreme reach) I was waiting on so it's actually a bit of a relief!

Ah, well that's a bit more comforting then. Any idea as to whether or not I should submit a LOCI?lawnerd87 wrote:It means they want to see who else applies before they make a decision. Better than WL.sorence wrote:Final decision postponed via email, whatever that means.

Okay, cool- thank you so much for you sage words of GULC wisdom! All the best to you and your waitinglawnerd87 wrote:I didn't, and I think most people advise not to in this situation. It basically just means your application is still under review. If it really is going to turn out to be a down cycle, most of the people who are postponed should be in a pretty good spot. If they like you enough not to send you straight to the WL, they might like you enough to accept if applications/LSAT scores turn out to be down.sorence wrote:Ah, well that's a bit more comforting then. Has anyone heard of any school releasing decisions on weekends? I would assume never, right?

I did my alumni interview on Thursday. How long do you think GULC will reach out to me with a decision?

People say the letter is small like a card. So I expected a really small mail. But it's not that small.

In at Georgetown. FWIW, the ASW trick didn't work for me yet I still received the letter in the mail.
So YMMV with the trick

The ASW trick is working for me, though it took me a few days for the log-in information to work. No letter in the mail yet and it's been about a week :/calpolisci2016 wrote:In at Georgetown. FWIW, the ASW trick didn't work for me yet I still received the letter in the mail.

I am not sure if I should send a LOCI. I got placed on their preferred WL. It doesn't say anything about LOCI in the email...Any thoughts?

Checking in, just sent out an app and it's my last one too. I know it's kinda late but if the cycle is down as recent data shows, figure why not? LSAT=50 GPA<25.

Did anyone who RSVP'ed for the January open house get any sort of confirmation email or other notification?
