Never got feeler email... is it too late to email them asking what's up and if I can be considered for merit aid? was there anything I was supposed to submit to be considered for merit aid? I was admitted back in October.

I don't know a definite answer to this, but I know when I was considering ED, Admissions & Financial Aid were both like "hey, not kidding, don't apply ED if you want any money"Lifeshouldbehappy wrote:Hey guys! Just wanted to ask if merit aids are also given to ED admits. Thanks!

ED is for rich kids. Not "richest kid at your public school" but "richest kid at the WASPY private school." Assume no money. I think GULC even alludes to that on their admissions pages.Lifeshouldbehappy wrote:Hey guys! Just wanted to ask if merit aids are also given to ED admits. Thanks!

I got invited to a group interview (3/2) but had to decline. Was invited to an alum interview and did that 3/22. Forgot to update their survey tracker thing (about my interview) until a few days later.
About how long should I expect to wait for a decision?
Thanks!

If you don't mind me asking, what are your stats and when did you respond to the feeler email? (you can PM me if you'd like) Thanks!dala77 wrote:Got the scholarship email today. 35K/yr. More than I expected. I will go
Also, as a general question, does anyone have advice for how they responded to the feeler email and successfully got some money? I know people talked about this earlier, but I never followed through to hear how it went.

I'm in the same boat here, did an alumni interview Mid March and haven't heard a peep. Can anyone else who did an alumni interview provide their timeline or what we should be expect? I'm wondering if we are going to be waiting until after all of the scholarship reserve deadlines pass or the deposit date passes.HonestlyThough wrote:I got invited to a group interview (3/2) but had to decline. My stats are 168/Superior (international student). I didn't receive the first round feeler email. I asked for the merit scholarship on 8th March. Received the feeler email a week later and replied immediately asking for 45k/yr.lemon-lyman wrote:If you don't mind me asking, what are your stats and when did you respond to the feeler email? Hey, a member of the Reserve Waitlist here. I will be in D.C. this weekend looking at GW and GTown. Are any GTown Law students/alumni here that would be willing to show me and my dad around campus? Thanks!

I'm waiting to hear back as well. I applied ED around the same time but participated in a group interview about four weeks ago. I know they usually send out waitlist/rejection emails on Fridays around 5pm and snail mail acceptances around the same time? So, hopefully we should all hear something soon?

Has anyone who was on the "alternate" list for scholarships made any progress?

Wait so how are scholarship alternates hearing back before all of the scholarship offers have been made? I requested a merit scholarship on march 15th in response to the feeler and haven't heard anything, is anyone else in the same boat?

The scholarships they gave came in one wave, and in that wave the deadline to respond was April 3rd, iirc. Right after that some people who were alternates in that wave got offers. Maybe they'll have another wave at some point?JDrat wrote:Me!legallybrunette424 wrote:Wait so how are scholarship alternates hearing back before all of the scholarship offers have been made?
