To be clear: does the need-based $$ mean grants and scholarships will be awarded from GULC that are entirely dependent on household income? What's the likelihood of getting need-based $$ (for someone who went to undergrad w/ pell grant) and what are the usual award amounts?

I have a seat deposit due in 2 weeks and I'd like to know if there's any possibility of me getting $ from GULC before completely ruling it out as a potential school.

they're asking me for signed copies of tax returns and w2s pero like how do they want us to send it? for undergrad it was always via IDOC thru CSS but now I don't know if they mind me just mailing it.

I created this account just so that I could commiserate with you all. Checking my spam folder and mailbox this often is exhausting me. It's gotten to the point that I don't even want to go to work because I NEED to check the mail as soon as USPS comes.

We should start a support group. :(

I got the same information from Georgetown. I went and tried on my Blue and Maize, immediately. Looks great on me with all the green accessories UM provided.

Yep. And WL/Reject by email.

I think at this point, I'm effectively waitlisted.

I had not received any information from the school regarding merit aid and just sent them an e-mail attaching a scholarship offer from a higher ranked T14.

Is there any chance they will match or give more? The sholly is relatively decent (a little bit more than 1 year tuition) and Gtown is kinda stingy, so I'm not sure.

Thoughts?

Let me know if this works. I am in a similar situation and am wondering whether I should send out an email attaching other scholarship offers (only one of those is from a T14)

"The Committee on Admissions has reviewed your application and has placed your name in a special group within our Preferred Waiting List."

Apparently there are several waitlists? Is this is Preferred WL or Special Preferred WL?
What's the difference, and does it even matter?

I was waitlisted today (non-priority). I was asked to do a group interview approximately three weeks ago, but could not attend.
