Re: Vanderbilt Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
So in theory, when do we actually think they will get through the majority of the remaining applications? I am getting so squirrely, and I think having a general date might help. I know some people were thinking more people would be contacted after the first set of seat deposits were due, but I didn't know if anyone knew what the absolute latest date would be.

No better idea than you have, but out of curiosity when did you go complete?REN10330 wrote:So in theory, when do we actually think they will get through the majority of the remaining applications? A few weeks ago. So I haven't been waiting too long, and know I need to just breathe and get comfortable with the wait as applying so late in the cycle means I probably still have quite a bit of time before I hear anything.BostonOrBust wrote:No better idea than you have, but out of curiosity when did you go complete?REN10330 wrote:So in theory, when do we actually think they will get through the majority of the remaining applications? Anyone else who applied in January or earlier still waiting? This is the only school I'm still waiting on and I guess at this point it will be after the seat deposit deadline.

Yup. I'm just imagining sitting at orientation at another law school this August and suddenly getting an email from Vanderbilt saying I've been waitlisted.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Yupnjdevils327 wrote:Anyone else who applied in January or earlier still waiting? Called to ask when we can expect to hear. They said mid-May was their goal but some may hear before or after.

Sorry should have been more clear - this is for people who haven't heard any sort of admissions decision.blelwoods wrote:utnyc44 wrote:Called to ask when we can expect to hear. They said mid-May was their goal but some may hear before or after.

Yeah I'm pretty disappointed. That is longer than a waitlist response at many places.blelwoods wrote:utnyc44 wrote:Sorry should have been more clear - this is for people who haven't heard any sort of admissions decision.blelwoods wrote:utnyc44 wrote:Called to ask when we can expect to hear. Honestly if they're feeling desperate after people bail on their seat deposit and they wanna back up a truckload of money on to me for my LSAT I could deal with waiting till Mid-May. It's all good homies. Keep me waiting.

Re: Vanderbilt Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Couldn't agree more, but I'm not optimistic. At this point, I'm treating Vandy the same way I'm treating schools I've been waitlisted at. In terms of my decision, it is currently a complete non factor but with the possibility of getting a happy surprise down the line.njdevils327 wrote:Honestly if they're feeling desperate after people bail on their seat deposit and they wanna back up a truckload of money on to me for my LSAT I could deal with waiting till Mid-May.
