Those planning on attending, what part of LA are you going to be seeking housing in?

Decision rendered today. Do they usually send an email and the decision in the mail?
Edit: page-catched and found out the answer.

I guess there was movement, today I got the "A decision has been rendered on your application. Your official decision has been mailed to you." status checker update as well. I was just wondering is snail mail a good sign? Or do they heartlessly snail mail rejects too?

I got my acceptance packet in the mail today. Decision rendered yesterday. However, I have not received the 1:00 acceptance email yet.

I got my acceptance packet via snail mail a day before I received the 1:00 email. However, no word of scholly info. Should I email or will scholly info come in a separate email/snail mail letter?

Is the alumni scholars program like a guaranteed internship at a good place?

I received this too. I don't think it's really 100% guaranteed. It looks like they just pay for the credits associated with the externships, which is pretty awesome. I'm sure they help secure one.shotgunheist wrote:Is the alumni scholars program like a guaranteed internship at a good place?

I'm not sure if all Alumni scholars got the same. Mine was 132Kwaggawagga wrote:How much money does the alumni scholarship come with?PinoyMamba wrote:I received this too. Ah I see. My letter just mentioned me as a Loyola scholar with 140k (so not much different than Alumni scholars), no mention of externships though.PinoyMamba wrote:I'm not sure if all Alumni scholars got the same. Did anyone else never get the acceptance email? I got my scholly/acceptance thru snail mail but never got an email. Just wondering if that's normal.

Their deposit website and response form are on different sites, but both of them don't mention anything about how to accept the scholarship?? I thought maybe accepting the offer would mean accepting the scholarship, but on the acceptance letter it says "you will receive additional information to accept your scholarship." It makes it seem like it's a three part process then. However, I haven't gotten anything yet about accepting scholarships and I was accepted a while ago. Anyone accept yet with a scholarship and know what to do?

I actually guessed that link, since I got a link to lls.edu/admissionsresponseform (just swapped admissions with scholarship). You can confirm by emailing/calling the admissions office to be absolutely sure.ooglygoogly wrote:Thanks so much!!! How'd you get this link? Just wondering, do they also send rejections via snail mail or is that just via e-mail?
