March has got to be the most painful month of this whole thing.

You've completed the interview and I haven't even scheduled mine yet.

Do you mind PMing me a summary of the interview? I would really appreciate it.

For those of you who were accepted, how long until you received the scholly email? Did anyone get that information with their acceptance? (I just got a quick phone call and congratulations, no mention of money).

I got told that "there would definitely be a merit scholarship" over the phone, but there's been nothing concrete on that front. Nothing's popped up on the email front, but it's only been a day since.

Yes, I'm terribly impatient.

Ha - yeah it's been a long, email-less 24 hours :) Well I hope you do get the $$$ per your convo! I'm also hoping they give me something even though it wasn't mentioned...? Fingers crossed.

I gave in to my neuroticism and e-mailed Dean Schwartz about when I might receive a merit-aid notification. Crossing my fingers my e-mail just got misplaced like someone else in this thread earlier.

I got the call yesterday and was told I would be offered a specific amount of money but no email yet.

Yeah, I'm putting basically no weight on anything in the phone call (except that I was told I was in, if that was in error, I'm gonna be kind of mad) until I get an email with something to work with.

I was admitted in late January and was told merit based offers will roll out in March. It was inferred that I should expect an offer. I have not received an offer to date. I was thinking about reaching out to the admissions office to see if the offer was lost in transit (not sure how this would happen with e-mail), but I am going to stick it out another week. Anybody else admitted in December or January expecting an offer and still waiting?

I was accepted in December and haven't gotten an offer. I know other people on this thread were in similar situations, e-mailed UCLA, and were told they didn't have an offer yet but could send UCLA other offers from peer schools and UCLA would then determine their offer.

I e-mailed Dean Schwartz last night to see where I stand. Hate to be impatient about it, but it is what it is.

I wish UCLA was more proactive with scholarships rather than seemingly always reactive and on the defense.

Can anyone tell me about how long they had to wait to hear back after trying to negotiate for a higher scholarship?
