LOL OMG. I was so confused because I was certain I spelled Schwartz right and triple checked it, then I realized the mistake. I certainly did not write Dead LOLOL. But good news for me; they upped my scholly from 87.5k to 95k.goldenbear2020 wrote:^^^ Hope that's not how you spelled his name...

They upped my scholly from 60 to 70k too... was expecting maybe a little more help but it's fine. Now I gotta decide between that and a near full ride to Wash U

so i applied to ucla with a 165 lsat and 3.7 cgpa. my best three/last three is a 3.86. i've been accepted to the university of toronto's law school as well as usc gould with a 20k scholarship per year. i haven't heard back from ucla though. my application just says complete. do you think that's a bad sign, indicating i'm probably going to get rejected?

Same here, still waiting. Only 25 slots in the program, so assuming they are waiting to see if someone doesn't take it to offer to rest of us.futureellewoods123 wrote:I did. How long does it take to receive a response re scholarship negotiation? I want to time it right, but the first seat deposit deadline is fast approaching..
Also, has anyone had luck negotiating with offers from Wash U (full ride) or other regional T-20s?

Takes about 2 weeks to hear back. I was able to get a slight raise based on my WashU offer.thoughtsinvacuum wrote:How long does it take to receive a response re scholarship negotiation? I want to time it right, but the first seat deposit deadline is fast approaching..

It took about a day for me, I included other scholarships too with my WashU one. They went up 30,000 which put me at around 100K in total. This happened fairly recently.PDX4343 wrote:Takes about 2 weeks to hear back. It took literally 2 hours for me. Only went up 7.5k to match USC but it's more than I expected!Motionsinlemons wrote:It took about a day for me, I included other scholarships too with my WashU one. Deciding between UCLA and WashU (at 80k less at least COA) is going to be the death of me.

In a very similar boat. Also have Georgetown in the mix. I asked admissions office for an extension on first seat deposit to April 15 (told them I was visiting UCLA), and they granted it.snowball17 wrote:I'm in the same boat, do you plan on submitting the 1st seat deposit to WUSTL?njdevils327 wrote:Deciding between UCLA and WashU (at 80k less at least COA) is going to be the death of me.
