Yayyy! Congrats! I'm still waiting on some additional schools and aid packages but we may be classmates yet I really like UCLA and their scholarship amount was alright. Either way, I'm jealous you're done with your cycle. That alone is a beautiful thing.ChewableBeast wrote:Bunbury wrote:Just got my scholarship info
WOOHOOOOOOOO CONGRATS!!!
Today I decided to accept their scholarship offer and want to shout at the top of my lungs from the highest rooftops that I am a member of UCLA Law School's class of 2020!!

Me too, luckily there's a station close to work. And nah, my GF wants nothing to do with most of this stuff, haha. Hopefully the food is good.Ashleighjarm wrote:Cool! Finally heard back about scheduling the interview for Achievement Fellowship via email a few hours ago. They're conducting interviews on March 23 and 24.

Same - there's a station less than a mile from where I work and my boyfriend is definitely over hearing me talk about this admissions process. I have a feeling I'll be getting there early so hopefully there's a Starbucks or something nearby. It'll be interesting to go to Cooley, and they better have a good dinner! I guess I'll see you on Monday!Gitaroo_Dude wrote:Me too, luckily there's a station close to work. And nah, my GF wants nothing to do with most of this stuff, haha. For those who are lucky enough to be admitted. When are the seat deposits due?

Also just FYI, if you get admitted too close to the deadline schools seem to be pretty flexible in giving an extension when requested. Certainly would be worth asking about if you need to. Good luck!orangejuice23 wrote:For those who are lucky enough to be admitted. When are the seat deposits due?

I went complete around 3/2 -- has anyone who is on a similar timeline heard anything? I'm just anxious, especially as the cycle winds down. I took the Feb LSAT which explains why I'm so behind. 50th Percentile LSAT, 75th Percentile GPA.

Yes, me I also took the Feb LSAT. I went complete 3/2, got the phone call 3/13 and scholarship info 3/14. I was a splitter <25th GPA, >75th LSAT, and not a CA resident.the_specialist wrote:I went complete around 3/2 -- has anyone who is on a similar timeline heard anything? It sounds like your numbers are good and hopefully good news will follow soon! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

$110k is the highest initial offer I've seen but I haven't been following super closely.dyebri wrote:What's the most you've guys seen someone get awarded for merit scholarship besides the full achievement scholars program.
