My wait hasn't been as long as yours, but I've been complete since 12/1. You're not alone in the waiting game.
sounds like everyone who's heard back was above both 75ths so I think they may just have done a round of admissions for the "slam dunks" . I submitted in september and still at complete above 75 lsat, below 25 gpa
I'm at USC's median LSAT and got the acceptance email today.

Edit: Submitted on 11/29, went complete 11/30.

I'm at both medians pretty much, applied ED and got rolled into the regular admission pool. We'll see what happens...

Got an email from the office of admissions.

Happy holidays email and it says they will review my app in the new year.

I feel like I got trolled.

Yeah, do you all think there's still an advantage to having applied earlier (pre November) Or they were waiting for Dec. LSAT takers?

At least it officially confirms that those of us not in the initial admit wave will have to wait until the new year.

No need to check my status checker every few hours now. 8)

My guess is there's an advantage pre November... I sent mine 9/28 and I'm median GPA/75th LSAT and was admitted yesterday

Well seeing as I applied in September, no I don't think there's an advantage to applying early at USC. Or they just didn't like my app that much. Could go either way lol.

I feel like most schools' admissions offices are going to be on vacation for the holidays starting tomorrow. At least I hope so! Admissions officers have families too lol
I think because I don't have vacation time I assume people will still work all next week. But this makes sense lol. At least for USC.

I still dont understand why my application is still "complete". I submitted 10/4 and it is has been complete since. I am above 75th GPA and 1 point above median LSAT. And it looks like some applicants with similar stats have been admitted after applying a month or more later than I did.

Is it really random who goes under review versus who stays at complete? And does the "advantage" of applying early now dissipate since it wont be reviewed until Dec LSATs are in?

P.S. I am a re-applicant. I was admitted on 12/20 in 2014. The only difference this time is I have 3 years working experience. I sent updated resume and completely redid personal statement.

I'm at their median LSAT too.

I submitted on 11/23, complete 11/24 but I haven't heard anything. Maybe they're going alphabetically?? I don't understand.

They've only done one wave so far. Relax. According to LSN next wave should be early January.

I came here to start a rant about the idiotic seasons greetings email but I see it is already well on its way. I feel belonging.

Based on when the folks accepted went complete, I'm gonna assume the odds are (if accepted) I'll be in the early-Jan. wave because I submitted early-Dec. BUT I'm a splitter so who knows...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
