Anyone who was waitlisted mind posting their stats? My app still is in no decision made so I'm thinking that it's a rejection at this point...

It doesn't have to be about stats, it could also be about when you submitted your application.Orlandocity wrote:Anyone who was waitlisted mind posting their stats? My app still is in no decision made so I'm thinking that it's a rejection at this point...

The WL is basically "initial review made - no decision made" pt 2.

Honestly if you got waitlisted I wouldn't count it out just yet. If you think about it they waited a long time (past the deposit deadline for most schools) and their ranking factors in how many they accept compared to how many actually migrate. So I have feeling they are going to let a lot of people in off the waitlist (which it seems they put a lot of people on) they just want to see who's actually really interested (LOCI or filling out form) before they let someone in since they know it's late in the cycle and people have given up and committed since they took so long..

Re: UF c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I mostly likely won't be attending though because I don't think UF will give me more money than FSU and I already signed a lease for an apartment in Tallahassee. Email said scholly details would come later, so hopefully I can use it to get more money from FSU and then I'll withdraw.Notmyname1023 wrote:Honestly if you got waitlisted I wouldn't count it out just yet. I know someone else on the thread also said they were doubtful they could attend because they had signed a lease as well. I'm sure other people will turn down offers for similar reasons. That'll probably get them to pull people off the waitlist.

I'm not that mad though. Its not a dinge and in the email it clearly said they want us, its just a seat problem.

Got WL but I'm honestly happy about that. Reverse splitter and applied late in the game. This is a win for me. Now everyone else get off the WL lol

I'm highly suspicious though, where are the rejections? I hope they didnt WL the 99% just to appease the lack of movement.

WL too ! And so the torture continues... reallyyyy hoping them waiting so long is going to get everyone off of the WL, I have no idea how we will find somewhere to live, schools, and jobs for UM with such short notice. This is literally the same as No decision made at this point. AH! It'll all be worth it if I get in and don't have to ruin the rest of my family's life to go to law school! lol

That's true...anyone rejected? I know people don't typically like to report that though....but after all of this I would just for others sanity! hahabrownellewoods wrote:I'm highly suspicious though, where are the rejections? I hope they didnt WL the 99% just to appease the lack of movement.

I feel like there had to of been. If you got rejected you most likely wouldn't post in this group or tell us you got rejected.brownellewoods wrote:I'm highly suspicious though, where are the rejections? I hope they didnt WL the 99% just to appease the lack of movement.

WL for me. Not so mad about the decision because it just means I will be taking a year off to retake the lsat, which I honestly wanted to do in the first place, but Im just mad about how long it took to receive this decision. I started studying back in late March just incase I didn't get in and now Im sure glad I made that tough decision lol
Congrats to those that stuck it out and got accepted. Maybe ill end up joining you all in 2018.

Wow I'm surprised to see this many posts. Nothing over here yet. Maybe its a good thing.... wishful thinking. Can everyone that got waitlisted post their stats and application date?

I applied 2/24 and my status hasn't changed. Going with the "no news is good news" mentality on this one

Sorry to everyone who got waitlisted today! This has to be the last wave of waitlisted because at this point, it's too late. I have not gotten any descion yet so I'm still hopeful . For those who haven't gotten choices, I figure it's either accepted or rejected at this stage of the game.

What I don't get is according to LSN, the 25 and 50 dropped. Why is everyone getting waitlisted?

I wonder if today is the day us stragglers will be put out of our misery. Some people just weren't cut out for the UF waitlist you know?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
