FWIW, it took about 45 days to hear back from my interview. I was nervous because people had been hearing back the next day, but I was eventually accepted by snail mail.

I interviewed late last week and haven't heard back. Just curious though, have you noticed any date updates on the status checker since your interview? If so, how many?
Interesting, I was told it could take about two weeks to hear back, but it seemed like others were hearing back sooner. Maybe now that we're deeper into the cycle it's taking a little longer. I haven't had any updates (except to note the interview request email was sent) on my status tracker since a few days after I submitted in mid-September

Thanks, that's helpful. Did you apply early in the cycle?

I think I applied right about this time, actually. My interview was definitely in October, and I heard back late November.

Heard back 3 days after my interview, but it seems to range enough that the time shouldn't mean too much.

Checking in and just submitted my app! Also, is WUSTL known for sending decisions this early? They seem to be on top of the game with their turn around!

How long after submitting did it take for people to get interview requests?

I got a request two days after I submitted my app, and I did my interview yesterday.

Recently had an admissions interview. Can confirm that it was really laid back and relaxed. Same questions as previously mentioned. The entire admissions team is very pleasant and easy to talk to. If the interviewer isn't on the admissions committee they won't be able to allude to your admissions decision.

so is WUSTL a school that if they are going to offer you a scholarship they include it in your original acceptance?

No
Judging by this thread, about a week between acceptance/scholarship info, correct?

Congrats! I just did as well!

Any perceived/actual benefit of interviewing in person versus skype?

(current student here) other than having a chance to visit campus and talk to other people, I'd say no. I did a phone interview

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
