Recently got my scholly offer. I'm very happy with it, 90k over the three years. At the risk of sounding greedy, has anyone received a full ride from UT? (or housing, healthcare stipdent, etc?)

I think full is ~$105k on top of in-state/in-state credit.

90k not including the exception is a near full ride? Im all confused about the way UT does things.

If you are a Texan or got the in-state waiver or whatever they call it, your non-discounted tuition is $35,015 + $33,514 + $33,514 = $102,043

So a $102k ADDITIONAL scholarship would be a true full ride.

If you are out of state and did not get the in-state waiver, tuition will be $51,995 + $49,762 + $49,762 = $151,519.

So if you got the in-state discount waiver, view it as an additional $49,476 scholarship.

If anyone was concerned about scholly negotiations, you have until 3/31 if you've already submitted a form and received a counter to accept, or it's gone. For those that apply after 3/27 you have five business days to accept after receiving a counter. So, no rush. (I was worried as well, still worried, but less so)

So if you submit the form before 3/27 they have to reply with a counter offer before 3/31?

For those that apply after 3/27 you have five business days to accept after receiving a counter. So, no rush. (I was worried as well, still worried, but less so)

They dont have to. Once you get a reply, could be after the 31st, you have 5 business days to respond. There doesnt seem to be a hard deadline for submitting a reconsideration form. The language stipulates that if you submitted a form before 3/27, all offers will be rescinded by 3/31 unless you accept.

Let me clarify: it came in the same merit scholarship email for me.

you could always call and ask, but im pretty sure thats how it is.
