I've gotten ones to places like NYU, UVA, Duke etc, but haven't for Cornell or GULC.

My stats are GPA just under 25th% and LSAT over 75%.

Has anyone asked them for a merit-based waiver and received one?
Bump.

Still haven't found any info about people receiving unsolicited or solicited merit based fee waivers for Cornell or Georgetown.

Any info you guys have is appreciated.

Someone said they solicited from Cornell in August, but I think I've only seen one person say that so far.

What did you guys put for who influenced you to apply? I don't know why it's a required field. Absolutely no one influenced me to apply to law school. Everyone, including the lawyers I work with, told me not do it. lol

Thanks.

For those with minor C&F, where you have to answer yes to the first question - it says to provide a statement in the attachments section, but then in the question itself it says provide an explanation and provide more information in the attachments section if necessary. Mine is really just a short paragraph, which I explained in the question box itself - do you think I need to provide the exact same explanation as an attachment as well? The questions ask you to do two conflicting things.

I didn't attach a doc (at least I don't think I did), since it says "if necessary".

Yeah that's what I originally thought, but right above it it says: If you answer yes to any of the following questions, submit an explanatory statement in the attachments section.

Eh, might as well attach a doc to be safe then.

Would you Put it in the attachments section, 94 the crime section? The crime section is only for the second question

Attach the same statement twice, or break it up into two for that portion.

Bump.

Still haven't found any info about people receiving unsolicited or solicited merit based fee waivers for Cornell or Georgetown.

I got a solicited waiver in August.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
