Now to your question, you should abandon the idea of a realistic timeline for hearing back. I waited 9 weeks for a JS1 and I applied 20 minutes after
I waited 8 months for a JS1 and 2 days for a JS2.

Good luck to everyone here. I'd love to do HYS, but can't afford to do the no aid law school thing.

Never thought about applying because I'm a point below their 25th and at the 25th GPA, but did everyone get an email today from JS asking you to fill out a form of you want to keep getting communications from them? Didn't get that last year with a lower LSAT, I only got a general advertisement email not from JS herself

I haven't received anything from Harvard, but my stats are lower than yours based on what you said lol. Harvard is my super reach.Keilz wrote:Never thought about applying because I'm a point below their 25th and at the 25th GPA, but did everyone get an email today from JS asking you to fill out a form of you want to keep getting communications from them? Didn't get anything...LSAT is at 25th and GPA > 75th and URMKeilz wrote:Never thought about applying because I'm a point below their 25th and at the 25th GPA, but did everyone get an email today from JS asking you to fill out a form of you want to keep getting communications from them? Weird I wonder what kind of list I'm on. It says we're reaching out because you previously expressed interest in attending law school. If you want to stay on our mailing list please introduce yourself to the admissions team to receive further emails

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I just wanted to tack on a bit more and say that the timeline also seems to be highly dependent on stats. The first few waves of JS1s/JS2s seem to be, for the most part, given out to applicants with both stats above median and at least one above 75th. The later waves seemed to include many more people with stats at or below median. There are always exceptions, but this seems to be the general ruleLikelyThrowaway wrote: I know the first wave comes sometime between Thanksgiving and mid-December, but is that a trickle of admits or a whole bunch? I wouldn't worry about it; I just received one, and both my LSAT and GPA are below the 25 mark, so I don't think it means much.proteinshake wrote:LOLBaby Gaga wrote:Yup, I just got one too. I guess we can call this JS0poptart123 wrote:I just got my "reaching out" email.
