No reports of a js2 and it's already 10:45
probably gonna see a wl/ding wave later in the afternoon.
But I've been wrong about everything so far so...

FWIW, the number who reported decision yesterday on LSN is about half what reported on the 3/22 by the end of the day. Could mean that it was the first half of a two-day wave or that most of the class is full. Depends if you're an optimist or pessimist, I s'pose.

Oh, ok. Uh... we're all going to die, the earth will burn to a cinder in the expanding sun, and eventually the entire universe will become a cold, lifeless wasteland with gradually more infinite space between every residual photon?AllHailKingMao wrote:Nooooooo don't give me hopeseeprybyrun wrote:Remember that it didn't start till 11:00 yesterday.AllHailKingMao wrote:10.45 and no reported JS2s... And MAYBE the JS2 wave is happening later today because it's not as big as the previous ones and doesn't need more time. But regardless a JS2 wave is happening...right?Pozzo wrote:FWIW, the number who reported decision yesterday on LSN is about half what reported on the 3/22 by the end of the day. yeah, i think it could happen anytime. i wouldn't necessarily bet a ton of money on a js2, but i wouldn't bet a ton of money on there not being a js2, either. i'm just not convinced it's overcalpolisci2016 wrote:And MAYBE the JS2 wave is happening later today because it's not as big as the previous ones and doesn't need more time. I'm banking on it happening.. Even tomorrow possibly- its happened before, there have been some waves that are 48 hours from each other instead of 24. Given how behind they are I'm thinking we'll see some movement.calpolisci2016 wrote:And MAYBE the JS2 wave is happening later today because it's not as big as the previous ones and doesn't need more time. Anyone consider that they don't do JS2 calls on days where other comparable schools are doing admitted students events as sort of a professional courtesy thing? I mean we expected the next round to be today, which happens to be the first day of Columbia's admitted students event, and it ended up being a day early.

so would this mean that they're done with JS2s, or are just planning on doing them tomorrow?chasima wrote:i am ok with thiseyetelyuhwhut wrote:Anyone consider that they don't do JS2 calls on days where other comparable schools are doing admitted students events as sort of a professional courtesy thing?
