My whole life in a nutshell. Half her twitter is in screenshots I've sent to my best friends. I'm seriously so in love with her. My gf is unhappy with it for many reasons.airwrecka wrote:I can't let myself read Asha's twitter. If I do, I fall in love with her. And then I go read things about Yale and other Yale faculty and I fall in love with the school. But I can't let myself fall in love. And so I have cut myself off.

Re: Yale c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Given the "presumptive admit" attitude and that they've been waiting for "over a month" (likely only just) I wonder if admissions would be able to get a sense of which applicant this is. There probably aren't many people with GPA/LSAT >75th (which is what I assume "presumptive admit" means, possibly with some interesting softs,) much less people with GPA/LSAT >75th who submitted an app about or just over a month ago and haven't been admitted.pretzeltime wrote:Omg

Ick, I hope not. I fit that description, but I certainly didn't make those tweets.Kopetz wrote:Given the "presumptive admit" attitude and that they've been waiting for "over a month" (likely only just) I wonder if admissions would be able to get a sense of which applicant this is. Even more, I don't really expect GPA/LSAT > 75 means presumptive admit. I think she's been pretty clear in the past that they don't care about your scores once you're "high enough" (e.g., something in her blog about not wanting to admit people who are just good at taking tests). I think it's really the softs that matter.

Re: Yale c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
There are ~190 admitted students in the fb group - so 70% of all admits (190/270)
~7% of admits - 19 - come off the WL, according to LSN: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... p?t=225363
So there might be ~70 straight admit offers (non-WL) remaining
~7% of admits - 19 - come off the WL, according to LSN: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... p?t=225363
So there might be ~70 straight admit offers (non-WL) remaining

Reject all the presumptive admits. It's the only way to know for sure. /kiddingHonestlyThough wrote:Oh my god I hope they don't try to guess. I'm at Harvard ASW. If there is a hushed murmur during the conversation with Dean Minow, I'll let you folks know. I'm kind of picturing that moment when the White House aide told George Bush about 9/11 in that classroom.KateMcKitten wrote:A declaration of war, really.Pozzo wrote:From the ASW Saturday Schedule:pretzeltime wrote:maybe Y will send out a bunch of acceptances tomorrow during H ASW just for the lolsThat would be absolutely savage.

It can also be really easy to use a few vague data points to identify someone. See this study, which determined that 87% of respondents (216 million people!) on the 1990 US census could be uniquely identified by just their ZIP, gender, and DOB.baseballfan660 wrote:she was a special agent in the fbi, if anyone can figure out who they are, it is her lol.potterotter wrote:It was a useless exercise after the first question Just her being nice/reassuring.
